I've advocated for lower pricing on these boards for some time. They have tried some discounted tickets etc and maybe need to do more. You seem like the chronic malcontent type of fan though so I'm not sure they could do anything that would please you.
I've spoken with a number of other ticket holders now and (other than comments on this board) I have not heard one negative reaction to the 4:00PM games.
Ummmm....how 'bout not discounting the other comments in this thread sparky.I don't know who you've been talking to, but this is stark raving stupid.
Amen, brother. I've said it before. I have two boys that would love to go to 4-5 games per year with me. I wind up taking them each once, and I get to a couple others on my own. The sole reason we don't go to more is the cost. I live in the North Shore area, so I'm going to be more focused on getting to the away games at UML, MC, and perhaps UNH.
Not sure the last time you went to Merrimack but last season tickets there cost $25. Is $25 in that crap arena for that team a better value?
Well, you can talk to me. I think the 4:00 PM games are a great idea. The best idea they've come up with in years. The game will end by 7:00 PM, now the rest of the night is available for dinner, a couple of drinks, etc.
Are you sure you just don't want to get a head start on your evening nap?![]()

Look for Chris Dyment to take over Hockey operations
Dyment was named assistant at Bentley earlier this summer. The DHO position is being advertised.

Sad news. BU's first two-time All-American, Jack Garrity, passed away today. Set a national scoring record as a sophomore with 84 points and scored 85 goals in two seasons. Led BU to two Frozen Fours. Parker had him fly from Florida to Washington to deliver a pep talk to the 2009 team at the Frozen Four. I'd imagine others have Garrity stories to share.

Chris Drury was named Director of Player Development by the NY Rangers today. A true winner at every level.
And that would make him Steve Greeley’s boss. An 1-2 BU combination for the Broadway Blueshirts.

Correction. He's not Greeley's boss. Steve is assistant director of player personnel. Drury is director of player development. Nice to see Captain Clutch back in hockey.
