Sounds like pre-seaon polls will be coming out soon. Where does everyone feel the Terriers will finish the season in terms of HE Standings? I haven't dug into what is going on with the other teams too much, but I'm thinking in the 4th to 5th range. If Eichel and company really contribute, there is certainly potential to go up further, but I guess it may take another year or two to get back to prominence.

I think I commented earlier that I expect a season similar to 89-90, where the record was good not great (25-17 or something like that), but the team was exciting to watch and played great down the stretch.

Well Mookie reads where john buccigros listed nu as #10 preseason IN THE COUNTRY!!!! :p

If that's the case out boys should be somewhere between -3 & -5

I think BU is going to be surprisingly good this year. I really do.

How about this prediction: BC and BU end up together in Manchester in March and face off in a regional final like 2006 in Worcester. Only this time BU obliterates BC.

Part of me agrees with you. With the improved talent infusion, it is certainly possible that some guys that have shown inconsistent flashes (e.g. Cason Hohmann) could put up Jason Lawrence as a senior-like seasons. And Quinn has admitted he had to totally go with a different style of game in January after realizing what he had (or better put, didn't have). With more talent, I suspect he will go back to the style of play he wants to see.

BU went from 21-16-2 in 2012-2013 to 10-21-4 in 2013-2014.
I don't recall any BU guys playing to their potential last season.
O'Regan went from 38 to 22 pts.
Rodrigues from 34 to 14 pts.
Hohman from 34 to 19 pts.
Why? Was everyone injured or something? I'm curious to see if Quinn can coach. :p

I would say the goalies played to their potential.

Are you predicting your average per game goal differential?:p

that is not happening. Jason led the country in pp goals and most by a BU player since chris drury. no one on team will half as many goals as he did his sr year

He had 25 goals his senior year. No BU player will have half that? Going to be a long season. :(

Actually there were a good handful of key injuries, Gryzslkrjadsfhasdflck being first and foremost.

I agree 100%. No one on the team will finish the year with 12.5 goals.

I heard that Clayton Keiller's scholarship has been pulled. Due to some serious off-ice issues.

I just noticed goalie Sean Maguire is not on the roster. Where's he at?

"The Kid" mentioned something a couple of months ago regarding an off ice issue with a BU recruit. If that is true and if this is the recruit, better to part ways now.

He is medically red-shirted for this season due to some non-hockey related medical condition.

I would say a lack of supporting talent, bad defensemen, and a new coach putting in a new style of play that they didn't have the personnel to handle. If you've been playing dump and suck for a few years, its a little tough when the coach actually wants you to rush the net if there's nobody between you and the goalie instead of dumping the puck into the corner as soon as you reach the blue line and going in for a line change. ;)
