I would say a lack of supporting talent

Replaced Nieto and Megan on the top two lines in '12-'13 with Lane and Roberto for '13-'14 and now look to replace them with Eichel and Greer (both are projected 2015 first round picks) for '14-'15.

Hohmann's injury-plagued season (from 34 points to 19) and Rodriguez' disappearance from the score sheet were big factors that Baillargeon's strong performance couldn't nearly balance out.

Most early draft predictions have Greer in the second round. Greenway, who arrives next fall is projected as mid-to-late first round in 2015. Both he and Eichel are in the All-American Prospects game, which NHL network is televising Thursday.

I heard that Clayton Keiller's scholarship has been pulled. Due to some serious off-ice issues.

sounds like roethlisberger jr might not be out of the plans yet

who says BU has a culture problem?

Keller is currently playing for the NTDP U17 program. Don't know about the scholie, but would probably not be expected at BU until 2016.

Central Scouting’s preliminary players to watch list includes two current and two future Terriers. Eichel and Greer received A and B ratings respectively. 2015 recruit Jordan Greenway, also an A, and 2016 recruit Johnny McDermott, a C. Plus a nice profile of Eichel from his NTDP coach:

"His speed and strength are uncommon in a player his age, and those attributes allow him to get separation on the ice offensively and excel defensively," USNTDP under-17 team coach Danton Cole said. "I would also add that his compete level is very high and he wants to win regardless of the situation, even at the end of practice. The bigger the moment, you can tell he wanted to end it."

CHI's list limited to college players and college eligible: http://collegehockeyinc.com/pages/2015-central-scouting-players-watch

between my posts, other's posts, & the tweets I'm sure you can connect the dots.

From what I gather, a BC twitter account stated that his scholarship had been revoked, then retracted that statement admitting that was not true, meanwhile there were some posts on this forum vaguely alluding to some off-ice "incident" and some insinuations of sexual assault. Kinda seems like a lot of mud-slinging at a 15-year-old kid without having the balls (or ovaries) to actually come out and say anything.

BC Blog Tweets:

Says BU revoked his scholarship offer, and lots of schools will now offer him a scholarship but not BC because they don't like people like him.

Next day: Delete previous tweet, apologize for saying he was a bad kid.

2 hours later: Also his scholarship wasn't revoked by BU, more apologizing.

UVM fan with 4 posts:

Says his scholarship was revoked (which is apparently false) then says it was for a serious incident (this has no detail and minimal credibility since the first half of his tweet was wrong).

Claver posts:

Says this isn't a joking matter.

13 hours later: Makes Roethlisberger joke about this non-joking-matter

Dots: Connected

In some quarters, this is known as "talking out of your butt".

BC Hockey Blog kid is well-connected. However, he's just *a bit* overzealous when it comes to reporting things he hears without verification. I think the kid has some credibility b/c some of the rumors he's leaked were indeed true; however, it doesn't help his cause when he runs with unsubstantiated rumors and then retracts.

He should focus on overreacting to BC's lack of depth on this year's roster and his concerns on their recruiting.

He has had some good information in the past that he's "broke," however, it's usually about the same time as someone like Hoky posts about it, he just doesn't have a Twitter account. Blog kid is usually 50/50 whether he gets the story completely or mostly right, about the same rate as Hoky. Blog kid also likes to gin up the story and add his own rhetoric to increase the wow factor.
