BU is back

We're getting close to exams, did they throw out another kid for studying?

edit - excellent work by Bonino last night. That first EAG was something else, I'm surprised more guys don't try to do that when a goalie goes low to take away the low net and defend possible wraparounds. Not much room there.

Chiasson dropped the gloves in a goal-mouth scrum with someone and threw a paw out there but nothing ever came out of it except matching minors. That 3rd period was insane. NHL playoffs are crazier than ever before.

And the announcer then said something to the effect of Chiasson being the least likely guy you'll see to drop the gloves.:confused::confused::confused:

Not Gryzsdjfhasdhfkasdfck, not Ballaiaskjhdfakjhdfkjashdfhsdeon, hmm, those were the only two who deserved to be cut, so I've got nothing. Doyle?

The broadcast caught the Bonino-Chiasson handshake. As expected, they gave each other a little something extra. I actually like watching the handshake line to try to figure out past relationships.

1. handshake only: and you are?
2. handshake followed by the double shoulder pat: we've played on the same team before, we weren't best buddies
3. handshake, double shoulder pat, short embrace with a few words: we've been through battles toghether, or we were good friends on a team once
4. handshake, long embrace, whispering sweet nothings into ear (see Martin St. Louis and Tim Thomas, 2011): I LOVE YOU MAN!

Bonino-Chiasson was a 3.

Well, Grizzylicsadlkfjkiczk was announced as captain wasn't he? Unlikely Quinn would announce him as captain and then cut him.

Quality post!

I went to bed with 5 minutes left. What an utter stomach punch loss for the Stars. Chiasson and Shattenkirk can now hit the links together.

BU Hockey: Where's the Cut Line?

Re: BU 2013-2014 (Part III): Close your eyes, we're coming up on the end here...

Daily Free Press: No surprises as Quinn makes the additions of Albie O'Connell (assistant coach) and Scott Young (Dir. of Hockey Operations) official. O'Connell's start date is May 1; Young expected to start this summer.

Last June when Quinn hired Greeley as Associate Head Coach, he also inquired with O'Connell. At that time, USHR reported that Harvard upped Albie's salary so he would stay put. So what changed at Harvard that would encourage O'Connell to leave now and take a job that is technically--if not in actual practice--a notch lower than what he could have had last summer?
