Bsu @ Nmu 10/23-24

Re: Bsu @ Nmu 10/23-24

When can we expect the first NMU win in the CCHA this season? With the showing that they had tonight, I don't see it happening until December...

Re: Bsu @ Nmu 10/23-24

After tonight's travesty, I don't see how anyone can support Walt's incompetence. What a ******* awful display. I've seen high school teams play better hockey. Looks like its going to be another mediocre start for NMU hockey - but we're all ok with that right, because Walt is such a nice guy, right? because NMU hockey is aWEWWWWWESOME and anyone who says otherwise is a traitor to the program. **** That! NMU deserves better than poor starts and mediocre final records. **** Walt and **** All you people who are still supporting this bum who is running the program into the ground. Walt needs to be fired before he can harm this team any farther!!!!!!!

I may have to revise my preseason rankings. With Walt leading the team to play like tonight, I think they will be lucky to win 10 game this year. Just pathetic

Re: Bsu @ Nmu 10/23-24

Have you not figured out that BSU is a very good team despite being in the CHA. Serratore has them playing very fundamentally sound hockey with very few mistakes, and they capitalize on the opposition's.

Fun team to watch, and frustrating to play against...

I can't even find 10 more wins on the schedule.

We managed 7, yes 7 total shots tonight that were not on the power play. I don't know what else to say...

NMU took 7 shots with even skaters. It wasn't just a loss, it was a slaughter. NMU looked like they didn't want to be there and they didn't care. It was one of the worst games of hockey I have ever seen

Re: Bsu @ Nmu 10/23-24

Did anyone notice that Gustafsson missed the weekend with H1N1, that Butcher played about six shifts and Hanson only 2. Did anyone notice how the flu bug went through the team this week? Think there were people that played that weren't near 100% healthy? Did anyone notice that Bemidji State is a **** good hockey team, no matter what league they play in?

The swine flu is all Walt's fault, duh... He didn't coach his players on how to avoid the virus... Even a D-III women's equipment manager's assistant can do that!

And I did notice that Hanson only played a few shifts... Any word on his injury? Are we looking at something that is potentially long term or is he just going to be day to day?

I saw Hanson leave the ice early in the first period and he went right down the tunnel. He came back for one or two shifts after that, and wasnt dressed yesterday. The way he left the ice it looked like an ankle/leg injury. I dont want to speculate though. Maybe somebody with sources can let me know? Maybe through Rep? Ahem....

Logic? Reason? The fIre WaLt squad knows not these things...

Re: Bsu @ Nmu 10/23-24

Injuries? Flu? Misconducts? Good teams with depth CAN overcome these issues and NMU's depth now has to be called into question. The loss at Tech set a very bad tone, a nice rebound at Duluth gave hope, a fortunate tie on Friday night was a kick in the cherries, and the pathetic loss last night calls into question exactly what type of team we have!!!

Next weekend is crucial already and with Notre Dame and tOSU on the road afterwards it will be much clearer what type of season is before us.

Time for Reid in goal. Stewie has been dreadful and the defense horrendous in front of him. Wake up Wildcats!!! No excuses this time around and it is time to play Wildcat Hockey!!!
