Brown vs RPI - Friday, Feb. 15th

Re: Brown vs RPI - Friday, Feb. 15th

The more that I see of Kadorf the more I think that he is the epitome of the modern goalie style: calm, centred, not a lot of unneccessary movement, no flopping around. Even in the player introductions he looks like it is just another day at the office.

As a freshman he already has mastered a very important part of goaltending-he helps to control the play in his end. He stops the action when necessary and seems to be in position most always. It has to be imposing against other teams trying to shoot at someone who just blocks out so much net so well.

A lot like one of my other favorite goalies (a hab of course), Carey Price. A goalie's ability to handle the puck doesn't show up anywhere in his stats, but it is like having another player on the ice at times.

RPI women tie it up with a soft goal that the Yale goalie should have had, but we'll take it.

Often it is what makes the difference not only in a game-but in the career of that goalie. This is what the pro teams look to develop. Perhaps a bit early to say-but he makes it seem so easy.

Now to get just a bit more scoring touch out of him and...

It was the big problem with Kelly. He was so fast but so out of control. RB lmade a very good comparison. But Rogic has some time to develop-so we shall see.

It was hard to see. Did the shot from the wing go in directly or did it bounce off the forward coming down the slot?

It is near the end of his junior year already, but we shouldn't give up. :)

Beautiful wrist ghot goal from same right wing position to put Engineers up 3-2 in New Haven.

Re: Brown vs RPI - Friday, Feb. 15th

Really nice goal by Gruschow gives the women a 3-2 lead at Yale. I tell you, this kid will be a star in the ECAC by the time she is a senior, if not before.
