Brown vs RPI - Friday, Feb. 15th

Re: Brown vs RPI - Friday, Feb. 15th

AAAARRRRRGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!! The women were unable to tap in a puck lying open in the Yale crease at the end of the second. Maybe some stick holding there (?) but I couldn't see for sure. Anyway, 1-1 after two.

Never cease to be impressed with the quality of the rpi tv feed. Only other recent college hockey feed I've seen is Yale's... our 6-1 win in NH. WeRPI's team with our video, wicked good combo!

Agreed. Sometimes you get a LOT more than what you pay for;)

Re: Brown vs RPI - Friday, Feb. 15th

Still 1-1 in the women's game. RPI noticeably faster, bigger and more skilled than Yale, in my completely unbiased opinion, but I wonder if we are starting to see some bus fatigue because Yale is getting some scoring chances.

rvdstar & I will push bus back to Troy:D Thanks, Ralph!

Maintaining concentration when the action's all the other way is an underrated skill for goaltenders

The more that I see of Kasdorf the more I think that he is the epitome of the modern goalie style: calm, centred, not a lot of unneccessary movement, no flopping around. Even in the player introductions he looks like it is just another day at the office.

Re: Brown vs RPI - Friday, Feb. 15th

Not quite as good a period as things are getting very rough out there-Brown is doing exactly wehat you have to do when you get behind 3-0. They are changing the pace and hitting. RPI up 3-0 and playing well but some sloppy play crept in this period for us. Got to pull together for 20 more minutes and put this one away.

2nd period ends. RPI seemed to stay back a lot more this period trying to preserve the 3-0 lead.
Brown getting frustrated. We have to keep our heads and not take any retailiatory penalties.
