That stinks. Wishing him a speedy return. Our guy that Lappin hit in the head on 11/7 has been out since. Hoping he'll be back on 12/6.

Bad hockey played the entire weekend. They were extremely lucky to come out with a win against UConn and we're never in the game against HC.

The team needs to focus on fundementals and build from there.

What team shows up this weekend? The team that played extremely well against Colgate or the team that lost 5-0 to HC?

A good way to end 2014 with a win and 4 goals. But I have to ask - die we play well or did RPI do an impersonation of the brown from last night.

I'd say it was a bit of both. Diebold didn't have the greatest game but we were able to keep the puck in the offensive zone and generate some chances throughout the game.

I was impressed with the play of the younger Lappin all weekend. Kid skates hard, will play the body and block shots. He also created good chances both games. Ernst with the exception of the 2nd goal where he got a bit out of position, made the saves he should make and gave the team a chance to come out with the win.

We were fortunate RPI failed to capitalize on some bad penalties taken in the third. Have to be smarter especially when you consider we are dead last in the nation on the PK.

They have a hell of a schedule coming out of the break so hopefully we will see a much different team in the 2nd half.

I just noted on ebay there are 3 gameworn jerseys available for bids - Harry Z, Jack MCClellan and Francois Drolet. Harry and Jacks's starts at $175 and Drolet's at $205. Seller is a private party. Curious as to how he got these jerseys. What does Brown generally do with player jerseys. I would think if they were going to be disposed of, a sale through the BHA would be a good way to raise money for the program. In that connection I would bid on Harry's jersey but I am not interested in enriching someone who may have no connection to the program.

Hope everyone had a good Christmas/Chanukah/Kwanzaa/Boxing Day/Festivus/time off from work/school! :)

Now that we've gotten the long-winded PC stuff out of the way:

I think I'm heading to Dartmouth on Friday with a friend of mine who is a BC fan. Not sure what to expect, which is kind of fun- usually, I have some sort of idea of how a game is going to turn out, but with BC's general inconsistency this year and a few regulars off at the World Juniors, anything. could happen. We could get blown out or win by multiple goals. I would not be surprised either way.

Here's to a vastly improved second half of the season. The freshmen should start putting it together soon (if I keep saying it, it's bound to come true, right?

Happy 2015, all.

I'm planning on making the trip for both games and looking forward to seeing a team with rejuvenated health, if nothing else. Even with a depleted BC roster, they're still talented, and Jerry York will have them ready to play. I'm keeping my enthusiasm tempered until this team gives me reason to be optimistic.

At any rate, I also noticed these games will be on AM790 locally and online via www.790business.com. I believe those with Ivy League Digital passes can tune in to the video stream, so if nothing else I'll be able to tune in there.
