Re: Bring Out Your Dead (Part Whatever v2.0)

RIP Mr. Killebrew. My dad wasn't a Twins fan, but he told about the times he saw him play in New York and how great of a hitter he was.

Re: Bring Out Your Dead (Part Whatever v2.0)

:( A sad day for all baseball fans, but especially those of us who grew up watching him play for the Twins. A class act all the way. It says something when you're one of the greatest homerun hitters in baseball history, but the people who knew you remember the person you were more than what you did on the field.

Re: Bring Out Your Dead (Part Whatever v2.0)

I am slowly losing all of my heroes. HK was a class act and he will be missed.:(

You know who was back in hospital Tuesday. There was bleeding around her feeding tube.

I remember a "Weekly Reader" piece from grade school about the Senators' muscular new stud who was expected to be the real life Joe Hardy.

No further commentary is necessary here.

Highlights is still in dentist's offices. The rot has set in as with everything else ("Goofus doesn't sort his #2 and #5 plastics; Gallant recycles water from own urine...") but it's still nice to see.

What about the Tracy twins? Last I heard they were doing a "gender illusionist" act in SF.
