Former Fighting Irish and Chicago Bear safety Dave Duerson dies in Miami.

two nits with the article: One, it's the University of Notre Dame, NOT Notre Dame University, and Tregg is not a fifteen year old son, I believe he is his oldest child and a Notre Dame grad.

Re: Bring Out Your Dead (Part Whatever v2.0)

Gosh-I remember when the Rams traded nearly their entire team to the Cardinals to get him.

The late comedian Phil Foster (who played Laverne's father, or was it Shirley?) used to do a routine about comparing the names of old time football players with more modern guys. He'd talk about Bronco "Nagoiski" as being a proper name for a football player. And nowdays we have guys named Milton Plum. Ollie Matson had one of those old time, tough sounding names. RIP Ollie, the last several years have been hell for you and your family. You're finally free.

I am perhaps unfortunately old enough to remember Ollie in the late 50's. Defenses had to be designed just to stop him. He was the big threat in the league. Somewhere i still have his trading card from one of the years in the mid 50's with the Cardinals.:o
