Brexit 2: Happy Halloween

Re: Brexit 2: Happy Halloween

But no Guinness, no French wine and no German beer. Just whatever swill they manufacture on their island.

Um...

Granted, I think it tastes like gasoline filtered through a porcupine's butt, but opinions vary and I've heard some have a taste for it.

Isn't Scotch made in...you know...Scotland? I don't think my cousins are in a sharing mood. Besides, they'll need all the Scotch in Glasgow since they didn't actually want to leave in the first place.

The British crave an American trade deal. Let them drink Coors, Old Milwaukee and Icehouse.

Re: Brexit 2: Happy Halloween

This is a case where you are irrefutably, 100% wrong.

I'm 50/50 as to whether it's an emperor's new clothes bluff that has had people cowering for 300 years, terrified they won't be called "cool." I swear nobody can actually enjoy that poison -- the entire scotch/whiskey/rye/bourbon continuum is varnish remover. Notice it started getting popular just when turpentine sales fell.
