Well, can they hang on? Bednarik should sit next game - canāt do that up by 3 (really anytime). Good response after the major expired.

Speared the guy in the you-know-whats. Very obvious and stupid.Wasn't there and it wasn't in the highlight package. What did he do?
It's nice to see the puck going into the net.

You don't know what the UConn guy said about his mother. It might have been justified.Speared the guy in the you-know-whats. Very obvious and stupid.
This could be a NC contender with those two⦠well maybe thatās a bit much but it would be better for everyone if they had stayedYah, pulled a Devin Kaplan

Very ironic too, as grandpa Jack would always advise one not to leave if you were only going to be taking bus rides in the A or ECThis could be a NC contender with those two⦠well maybe thatās a bit much but it would be better for everyone if they had stayed
Those 3 kids were all top 1/2 1st rd picks. Shane was what? 5th or 6th rd?Re: kids who should have stayed, coming from a top tier D-1 program itās easy to be a little self-delusional, see the select few who make an immediate transition to the NHL, e.g. Celebrini, Smith and Hagens, and think youāve got what it takes to do likewise. And you may have a posse back home chirping in your ear to take the money and not risk injury. While selective, all coaching staffs have been selling the dream since day one. Iām sure tough love conversations do occur, but that NHL grass looks so gr$$n.
I felt the same way when Joe Sacco left after his junior year. He eventually became an NHL regular but boy, imagine what that 90-91ā team would have looked like with Sacco on the roster.Broke my heart in 1994-95 when Pomichter left who was one of the top 20 most talented forwards in school history. Missed out on the NC and played 21 years of pro ( non NHL) hockey. Imagine adding him to that juggernaut
