Just like on Harvard thread when I said 4 months ago Vesey will look good in Toronto. They said, you ar confused, it was his brother who was drafted by Toronto. Ok..... Toronto made an interesting scouting hire

This is his clue. There are rumors floating around Twitter from no one of significant credibility that BU supposedly threw the championship game in April as part of some kind of gambling thing.

"Chief" is some Barstool writer out of Chicago. Other guy "McLaughlin" is just some random person who responded to him - not the current CHN and former Freep reporter.
This, plus that Russ dude is all there is on the matter outside of a couple random Twitter accounts and a couple of people who've responded to BC Kid claiming to know about the same story. But they very easily could've seen the Barstool tweet the other day and regurgitated the same story as their own. It baffles me that this many random people seem to know about something yet no one who covers the team or the sport has gotten any whiffs of this.

What kinda writer isn't going to break a story?

Who tossed the game? The goalie? The guy who didn't cover his man on the faceoff after the time out? (Hoky?)

Was there large Vegas action here? Would have thought that story would have been out already then being its 8 months after?

All things being equal this would have been in line with the hoky tease 4 months ago.

I don't know, and it's so disastrous of an accusation to make, it's not fair to the players to even speculate who could've done it, or in what context.

Really looked like they tried to throw it, diving thru the crease and pin balling the puck past Gillies, just missing tying it up. What are the players now, Butchie from Pulp Fiction?

Not entertaining it or presenting it as credible, just that it's there and not coming from some mope with 25 followers (there's one of these guys two floating the same rumor). Presented only for reference, since the pieces were brought up by others.
