didn't sound that way at all. maybe to you only. if talking about something that happened in an actual game constitutes "nothing of substance", what does regularly stalking and providing updates on recruits who can't even drive yet constitute?

You BC guys, man -- you go through one little week of problems, suddenly it's all quiet over here. C'mon now. You want to show some swagger, it can't be pretend swagger. Can't be clogging up the opponent's thread with pretend swagger. You got to have real swagger. And real swagger don't disappear soon as one punk gets kicked off of your team, or when you get busted doing the soccer dives on the ice, or cause you've gone 6-6-2 since the new year. You got to be real all the time.
Now somebody man up! Keep it real in here! Tell us again what a bad mofo Gibbons was, and how he's ridden that swagger all the way to Wilkes-Barre.

If you think the mispronouncing of a name and pointing out that a player got hurt when Gryba “didn’t do much of anything” was a post of “substance,” I won’t argue with you, as if it would matter. There’s a reason why I –and several other BU fans I talk with—rarely bother reading your posts.
Even if you have no interest in what recruited players are doing, lots of college hockey fans do. That’s why there are plenty of “recruiting” threads on USCHO and elsewhere, and why the number of hockey recruiting and prospect Web sites is growing. If you and the guy who, in a nasty snit after a loss, tagged your team as “very unlikeable” [horrors!], want to mislabel it as stalking, go ahead. Fits your MO.

Please forgive me for having the nerve to respond. This only started because you decided to parse a quote and completely misunderstood the intent. Jesus, you'd think I actually said something bad about Gryba. If you didn't initially cry over what I posted, there never would have been a retort. And I didn't say your "observation" was mean. It was just stupid and misguided. Nothing I can do about that.
