Nice though I'm not sure Hohmann would be the #1 Hobey candidate on the team. Danbey O'Baker? Ah.. no. Creating nicknames is not my forte! :D

So did last years' scandal play a part in BU having to settle for Quinn or was the BU job just not that attractive to the big name, high end guys?

i think they hired the guy they wanted. hynes would have probably only been available once wbs finished up of course.. but yes, they got the best candidate they could and hired him.
if you'd like to list me some "big name, high end guys" i'm all ears :)

The current MC, UML and PC coaches would have all been preferred to name a few.

So did this new thread title play a part in BC having to settle for carlton trolling, or was the trolling just not that attractive to the big name, high end guys?

Don't know much about the various candidates, but those I know who are a lot more familiar/ knowledgeable, said that getting Hynes would have been a home run. Again, am sure Quinn is decent, just not the top choice, more of a second tier guy.

Except for Bazin this year, Parker beat Merrimack and PC like a drum.
Dennehy beat BU about as often as Northeastern has won the Beanpot.

'Sure, we'll go out and hire someone who can't beat us.'

Maybe the Red Sox should have brought back Bobby V, too?

Carltonbarrett gets the most myopic post of the post-season, so far.

Quinn will be a huge success there. Make no mistake about it as he was their first and only choice.
