This will never, ever get old:

How great was this?

Where were you and how did you react?

Me?

I was in DC and I just slumped into my seat and asked somebody next to me if that "really just happened?".

Not sure if I'd prefer the cakewalk number BC did over Wisco over this.

I'll certainly never forget this...

I was in DC as well, and all I remember is screaming. I was also shaking with nerves through the entire intermission that followed!

I was convinced I was going to get an ulcer from that game.

In the makeshift student section in the balcony of the Verizon Center. Reacted by hugging everyone around me, most of whom I didn't know, and nearly falling into the row in front of me only to have someone catch me and push me back up.

I was at Agganis along with about 5,000 other folks, and that place blew up when they scored. There were students down on the ice skating, and there was a big group of kids that just started doing laps and jumping into the glass. There ended up being like a 7 person dog pile in the stands to my right, one of my friends almost got killed under there.

I wouldn't trade that championship victory for any other one, even if BC got to start the partying during the game and I lost 5 years of my life watching it. It was easily the most exciting few hours of my young life, and I had plenty of time to celebrate after.:D

My reaction was caught on one of the youtube videos, that has now been removed from the site but remains on CC's dvd, IIRC its during Bernie's call. But I'm superstitious and did basically the same celebration after every goal all year and was completely lost in the moment and was fist pumping and screaming like mad, and didn't even remember doing it until I saw the video.

I was actually knocked over into the row in front of me, and cut my shin up, I just didn't notice it until halfway through the intermission, when the adrenaline started to wear off.

The video was taken down? That's weird. I think I cleared out most of those short youtube videos from my computer, but I'll check. I can't even remember what I did when it was tied up, too much turning around and high fiving. I remember pretty much saying "What just happened?" a few minutes later. Usually when I see a game live I can recall every goal from my vantage point, but that one I completely blank on. Or maybe it's just because I've seen the TV angle hundreds of times when editing that it's the only one I can remember. ;)

I just watched it on tv. But my roommate was there and he wasn't even a hockey fan. I dragged him to one game all year where he signed up for some contest and won an all expenses paid trip for two to the Frozen Four. The ******* didn't even me bring me, just another friend who didn't care about hockey.

Yeah "terms of use violation" but I have no idea why, no music and not even an ESPN feed.
It was the one that was shot from the corner closest to the corner we were in, that showed the goal panned to the students, then down to the BU section in loge (in case my original description was inaccurate). If you still had it that'd be great, easily the video I've watched the most on that site.

Don't worry about it. You only missed the greatest championship game ever.;)

I was in DC. After the Vermont game, I bought my train tickets down to DC (overnight there, overnight back) and then relied on the fine folks of USCHO to get me a ticket. (I did of course). I was sitting by myself but I had friends there, two sections over. When Regulation ended I made my way over and we talked about how amazing that was, then I returned to my seat for OT. I was sitting in the lower bowl and Colby scored right in front of me. After the goal I bolted up the stairs, ran two sections over, and tackled my friend from behind. It also happened to be exactly where the team ended up celebrating.

Then, around 3 AM, I got on the train back to Boston. Best 8 hour train ride ever.

I was in section 108 Row A of the Verizon Center (basically in line with the goalie). I had spent the bulk of the 3rd period on the edge of my seat, near tears. I jumped up and started crying when that happened. Banged on the glass and then just sort of sat down in shock.
Later in the evening, I spent several hundred dollars in shots. Worth every penny.

I will never forget it. Just simply the best sports experience of my life. USC Football won, but they dominated Michigan at the 2004 Rose Bowl. There was nothing like a tremendous comeback and then to win in OT...unbelievable.

I was at BC's OT win in 2001 and their lopsided wins in 2008 and 2010. As a BC fan, I'd rather have the 2010 coronation than the cardiac arrest that 2001almost brought. In hindsight, it's more excited, but being able to sit back with 5 minutes to go and bask in the moment was awesome.

Sorry, couldn't find the original. :(

But you can still watch it whenever you want on the DVD! ;)

You have plenty of time to bask when it's over, nothing matches an exciting finish!

Any championship is fine by me. Doesn't matter how it happens. :)

The BU '09 ending certainly was unique though. Can't imagine what it would be like if it were my team.

Thanks for the freep hockey article there FL!

No problem. Beat me to posting it here. Had to figure out some stuff on the blog.

Anyway, here's the link. Parker's reaction to the rule changes, his take on the full cage vs. half-shields debate and an update on Cisse.

Poor Miami. What else can the city of Boston do to these poor people. LOL...:D

They could still lose to Northeastern or Harvard. That would have to be worse. :D
