Boston University 2018-2019 - Still Alive!

Re: Boston University 2018-2019 - Still Alive!

has been there for many years with increasing responsibility-
good to see so many BU players drafted in day 2 today
Lower round draft choices are a good thing
Was Albie at draft- saw Jerry York there last night congratulating choices going to BC

Great to see Kealty having so much success. Between him, Drury, and Greeley, nice representation in the management ranks (And Fenton from an earlier era). Any others?

Remember the days when the kids came straight to BU from the Publics/Parochials? There were 3 CM kids in Kealty's class right? I think Noble, and Sylvia?

Re: Boston University 2018-2019 - Still Alive!

Saw that photo on Twitter. I'm assuming the two that aren't in the photo are Webber and Doyle, since they presumably have not signed LOIs yet. Does anyone know if they were in attendance?

Yes, that's why Webber and Doyle were in the photo nor did BU Hockey tweet their selections. Eight drafted in Vancouver; nine drafted/committed recruits counting Jay O'Brien (#19 in 2018 draft).

Ty Amonte to attend Rangers development camp. His dad was a Rangers draft choice.

Here's the entire list of NCAA players attending 2019 NHL development camps from College Hockey Inc. but you'll likely have to paste the link into your browser since the certificate is invalid (click on NCAA to sort by school):

Re: Boston University 2018-2019 - Still Alive!

If I was in Nate Leaman's shoe's I would not sign off on it and make him sit the year.

Gotta believe O'Brien has Nate's blessing. Why else would he petition the NCAA now if there is a potential roadblock in the conference?
Not sure if it's apples and apples, but several NCAA quarterbacks recently have been allowed to transfer without sitting out a season.

I don't think there are many transferring in conference though
