mookie was looking forward to seeing the boys play in ithaca. that dam fat mike :mad:

I do not recall the player playing for the Boston Bruins by that name ever playing like that at BU.

On Inside BU Hockey, DQ said Hickey and Phelps are cleared to play today. Olsson is 50-50.

Is Olsson actually hurt? He hasn't played since being thrown out of the NU game and getting the one game suspension. No one has reported on this - I asked the Freep on Twitter and they had no idea. (WHICH MEANS YOU SHOULD ASK THE COACH!)

Pretty much set now that BU need to win hea tournament to make NCAA tourney at this point.

Untimely penalties almost doomed Cornell in this game...but thankfully they didn't.

And when we actually DID put the puck on net (not counting the twenty missed open nets) your goalie pretty much stoned us all night long.

So not taking anything away from Cornell. They're a really GOOD team that bottled us up for most of the night. But jeez...I don't know if it has become a psychological thing or what but we turn into all thumbs when a scoring chance arises. Some of those nets were just yawning wide open...

Well that's Matthew Galajda--a worthy continuation of the long lineage of strong Cornell goaltenders. On a good night, trying a get a goal against him is like trying to shoot a puck through McGraw Tower.
