Hello blastoff186. Welcome to the friendly and cold Mile High City. There are several good bars to check out today's BU-DU game. If you want to be in the heart of Pioneer country I'd suggest the Campus Inn. The food is subpar but great atmosphere and plenty of good beer.

If you want a good mix of young and old fans you might try the Pioneer on University Boulevard and Wesley Avenue. Excellent Mexican food and a warm, friendly environment. Otherwise you could try your luck at the Crimson and Gold. Great drinks there, but it is more frat boy/d-bag crowd there and the service is average at best.

walking before running i guess..........being HE people ourselves i enjoyed the vignettes he threw in from his playing days under JP

Interesting that Jack Parker is saying "That certainly wasn't our best effort." But after awhile, you are what you are. Apparently we haven't seen their "best effort" for the last three weeks, so it's doubtful that anything is going to change now...

Offense hasn't been the same since the first week of the Beanpot IMO. That said, there are 2 more periods guys. They aren't being run out of the arena.

Come on, have you ever seen a BU hockey game before? We were playing well, then gave up a goal, and they quit. I predicted 5-0 or 6-0 before the game and I'm sticking with it.

Team has been gawd awful for a while now, and have a goalie who cant steal a game for you. Horrible heartless effort but as you noted we've seen this before. "They shoot horses don't they?"

Not sure if "quit" is the right word...I got lambasted (better word than "eviscerated") for suggesting that signing ALL high draft picks (which leads to people leaving early and, as a result, no continuity) is a bad trend. But, I repeat, you can't have it both ways. Either there is no leadership on this team (and again, just because they are "seniors" doesn't make them de facto leaders), or they're just not as good as we thought.
