I got $633 when pricing yesterday for Saturday morning departure and Monday afternoon/evening return. Got $800+ if flying out Fri night and returning on 1st flight Monday morning. This is one time I wish I had enough Delta SkyMiles; will watch game(s) on TV and save the $$$$ for Tampa

The $633 I got was flying home Monday at 3pm. I don't like the new system Delta uses. I feel like I'm never going to have enough miles to use. I'm using hotel points so I don't have a cost there, so that helps.

Lower price from the venue and/or the university is subsidizing part of the cost. Omaha gave their current students last year more or less a free ticket and bus ride to Boston for the Frozen Four. Yale charged $10 for bus and ticket to Manchester last year. I'm pretty sure BU charged $5 for the bus ride to Manchester and you're on your own for tickets.

Check out the BU Band performing "Shipping Up To Boston" on stage at Agganis Arena with the Dropkick Murphys.

Yikes. The only driving mookie should be doing saturday is to and from the package store and watching the game on ESPNU in the comfort of his living room.

I hear the Alumni Association and/or Terrier Pride folks are trying to put together a watch party for Saturday night.
