Honestly I think everyone in the building automatically thought that trip was a penalty, except for the four striped guys on the ice. It was actually pretty shocking and blatant to go along with the bad non-offsides calls that sometimes aren't as noticeable by the casual fan (and there were a bunch last night...I would've thought Brighanti was one of the linesmen last night as he is absolutely horrible with offsides). My nightmare scenario tonight is having Voss and the Brighantis show up. :eek:

McGuire suddenly having a "w-t-f" moment as he scrambles back to his net was pretty funny though.

Despite the shot totals, I thought Lowell was able to play their game most of the time. Really the first game I've seen them play this year, and they look very well coached. BU can certainly win the next two, but they are going to have to figure out a way to generate more true scoring chances. I'm glad the boys don't have to win to get to the NCAAs, but it would certainly be nice to find a way to get to the garden.

Hockey East is very tough this year.

Michigan October 08 at 6,400.

Officiating last night was a disaster for both teams. Not the main reason we lost as there were some bad no-calls on our guys, particularly in the icing/offsides department. No mention of the first period icing where the official waved off the icing and blew his whistle to signal icing AT THE SAME TIME.

Yes, we'be had a tougher schedule down the stretch, but it seems as though many of our good chances lately would've been goals in the first half. Plus many missed opportunities off rebounds or passes where there was just no one there to bury em.

It seems to be like our offense leaves a lot to be desired with the talent that is there, especially on the PP

Me thinks that if BU wins this game, Matt Lane will be a key contributor. With UML's good defensive play, we need the second line to step up.

BU is getting beat up out there. Lowell is getting to every puck first and Lowell is hitting the chit outta the terriers. BU kids are acting like they never been hit and don't know how to react.
Very VERY fortunate to be down only 1

GQ better be earning his pay in the locker room right now

So to speak..... Hey, you lose a few you shouldn't have along the way. Get a bad draw that puts you on the road against a good team in a tough place to play.....then again NU isn't using that as an excuse
