If they split UML will have better record against BC thus beating out BU but if both get swept BC will get #1 and BU will have better record 1pt vs BC vs 0 for UML. That tie Friday limited their path

With PC sweeping this weekend then BC should have something to play for which helps.

Not entirely true, if Lowell ties BC twice and we got a W/L with ND, we get the tiebreak due to overall conference wins. Also, if both BU and Lowell sweep, after hell freezes over we'd get the 3 spot, Lowell the 4, and ND 5.

President Meehan sounded concerned about the state of UMA hockey during an interview on the UML broadcast Saturday night. I can't imagine Meehan would stand for another season of this considering he canned Blaise MacDonald after the 5 win UML season five seasons ago. Since then UML has five straight 20 win seasons. Not that we want to see UMA getting all dominant but a little more competitive and relevant would be ok.

While games against UMass have been funny lately, it's better for the conference overall for them to not be a perennial dumpster fire.

Out of last year's Freshman class, Eichel, MacLeod and Piccinich committed when Parker was still the HC. All of this year's Freshmen committed under Quinn.
As for the current Juniors, Roberto, Lawrence and TJ Ryan (if he was still on the team) are the only ones who committed under Quinn. Somerby, Baillargeon and Kelley are the only ones remaining in that class who committed under Parker.
