Your assuming anyone reads chickods brain dumps. That's what the scroll button is for (someone hire that man an editor).

Tonight's win felt like a loss. I don't like where this 3 line team (2 first period shifts for the fourth line tonight) is heading. #TrendingDownward

I guess you haven't been watching the games at all? He was solely responsible for their third goal last night. He was horrible tonight, did absolutely nothing on their 2 on 1 breakaway which would've been a goal of not for Connor making the "save of the night." Then his horrible defense led to their first goal and Quinn kept him off the ice for the rest of the game after that.

It's a three-line team with all of the injuries, so play suffered accordingly. We essentially played this weekend with about 2.5 lines as Moran didn't get full shifts from what I remember. Getting Robbie and Hickey back in the lineup will help. Robbie's hurt with a twisted ankle. Saw him walking the concourse with a boot on it. Seemed to be walking fine, no noticeable limp, no crutches.

Three skaters with division one scholarships sat on the bench for two hours. They have four lines.

Kelley and Lawrence are on scholarship? I'll give you Phelps, he should at least be rotated in a few times if the other two aren't going to be out there.

kelly has been getting ice time.

if you are not playin dillon, yet dressing him. put difley back up front and dress 16 on D.

the guys were gassed in the 3rd tonight. DQ is too smart x2. should have lost.

did the freepers ask him about his ice time?

and 25 got down to try and block the pass (his job on the 2x1). dude made a terrific pass to get it through. bu guy does that and we are all WOW!!! a uhn guy does it and it's 25s fault?
the other break where 25 had to rush back was andrens fault. bu had 3 guys lined up on the blue line for hangers and andrens lost the guy behind him. he kinda looked over and said, " hey, my guy's free here. help" and fortunato had to react late. fortunato had decent position and is quick, smart, and possesses passing skills. sadly, yes... he weighs what looks like 108lbs soaking wet so isn't going to pound anyone, but doesn't shy away from contact and moves the puck out. he doesn't reach and try things he can't do. and as mookie has sad a billion times already ---- if these kids on D were 'good', they'd be playing professionally. do you see the chit that is back on the b's blue line for example. all college dmen are going to have times when they struggle. switzer on his first 2 shifts looked like kevin duane on skates. but you know what? that's who you got to play for your team... so you bought the groceries there DQ, and you make the dinner.

sog were 4-11 in the 3rd.

this would have been on GQ's doorstep if they 'lost' again 3-3. horrible mgmt of the bench and ice time. awful.

100% agree. Kelley has been at least serviceable at times, but Diffley is a better skater, can put the puck on net, and isn't a liability on the ice. I don't understand dressing Lawrence and Kelley two nights and giving them what couldn't have been more than five minutes of ice time combined on the weekend. The loss of Olsson is far greater than has been noted. Olsson-Phelps-Moran was a dangerous fourth line.

So part of the Dilfey playing up front plan includes freeing MacLeod from Q's dungeon, right? That could be the problem.

As per Brian Kelley's Twitter last night:

Here are scenarios for @TerrierHockey: Sweep of ND secures 3rd. BU is 4th if it earns 1 more point than Lowell or both teams are swept.

While I am a proponent of not worrying about what other teams do because you should be in control of your own destiny, BU could be in the position to need BC's help to secure a bye. And that never works. Ever.

so bu and umlol are tied.... and BK tells us that if bu gets just ONE MORE pt than umlol this coming weekend bu will finish above them?!?!?!??!/1

mookie is already accepting somerby is gone. mookie has to assume that TB will encourage macleod to go play echl or ahl if he is going to sit. no reason to waste a 2nd rd pick on the bu bench.

if GQ is a master defenseman coach shouldn't we see macloed advancing his skill levels? advancing his play? ummm some DEVELOPMENT?

so if we lose grizz, somerby, macleod, and hickey (always a possibility) and charlie (depending on where he's picked and by whom). that means--- :eek:

Well I think the point was that a tie goes to Lowell. The better scenario is to sweep UND and take third. For our PWR more than anything. Though after the last 2 weekends maybe we should be happy with a win! :eek:

actually, whomever it is that gets the '3' will have to face nu (if one is planning to follow seeds and safely guess the 5 will win).
