But if them drinking on a Wednesday impacts their game on a Friday I assume the tryptophan they had on Thursday would make them useless tonight. It's a classic constructive dilemma. ;)

Parker didn't implement a tryptophan ban 72 hours prior to a game?! FIRE HIM! Fire up the tryptophan task force!

Recommendation 15: Turkey will only be served in the dining halls on Sundays, except during weeks of the Beanpot when they will only be available on Tuesday.

Haha fair, Mookie. I'm sure it'll be a topic of discussion when we talk to him later this week. I'm interested to see what the players have to say about it, too.

Edit: Granted, my guess is all parties will play it off.

What, no mention of Escobedo's awesome porn 'stache? That thing is EPIC.

Carry on...

Well, with all the stuff that goes on in the BU penalty box I think most people just wanted to lay off and let the jokes write themselves.

As Mike Bavis' tenure behind the bench grows with each passing year, is it becoming inevitable that he will replace Jack? Most of us have been throwing out other names (Quinn, Sullivan, Hynes to name a few), but as time goes on and Mike puts in his time, seemingly not even looking at other options (not sure if he has had any), it seems to me that Jack is planning on Mike being the guy.

Thoughts?

Disagree. Quinn was ahead of him on the list when he was here (both in job title and in actuality) despite a much shorter tenure. With additional AHL head coaching experience and NHL assistant experience I don't see how his resume could have fallen below Bavis'. Also when he was an AHL HC he was still interested in NCAA jobs (he was one of two finalists for PC's HC), I wonder if now that he is in the NHL he would still leave for a college job.

Could be... all this will be decided and closely looked at I'm sure once the time comes. Regardless, Mike is a quality guy and good person. I'm sure he would steer the ship just fine.

Quinn had dinner next to me Saturday night (Panera Bread. I recommend the Cuban Chicken Panini.) I asked him point blank: "Are you taking over for Jack or what?" He laughed and took a chomp on his salad.*

*Okay, I lied. I did have dinner next to him, but I didn't ask him about the BU coaching situation. But, he was in the arena Saturday night. Scouting his new job? Quick, someone start a rumor!

All y'all are wasting your time.. Jack is gonna outlive my daughter's grandkids and coach until he is 168 years old and increase his current record for most ties by a coach :)
