If you feed him he will never go away.
As I said, what a phenomenal comparison on your part. Keep up the good work and fight the good fight.
You guys aren't that far off. The biggest difference between BC and most teams is in the defensive end. Everyone on the ice contributes... nobody does it better than BC. Of course, a speedy transition going the other way helps a bit. This comes from a BU fan by the way: BC is good enough to play a half a#@ game against most teams and still win most nights. Are they the best in the country? I think so until I see differently.
BU has the makings right now of being a very good team. Perhaps an NCAA lock when the dust settles. Something most of us weren't sure we were getting a month ago.
Truth be told, these 2 teams are not even close right now.
Set him up in the Jason Lawrence Memorial hang out around the crease position.he gets his shot off quicker than anyone else on the team, and quicker than anyone else ive seen in a while. the problem is, he's a terrible puck handler, his speed seems to come and go, and i haven't seen too much playmaking ability. i gave him a bit of a pass last year since he was coming off that long ankle injury which can be really hard to recover from, but it would be really helpful to see some better production out of him this season.
that said, hohmann is the far and away leader candidate for most improved player on the team. holy shnikes, kid's got wheels. he outskated the entire BC d line last night at least three or four times.
This is definitely he thing that has impressed me most about BC these last ten years. It's the whole difference between these and he Reasoner-Farkaz era teams. You guys aren't that far off. Seen Lowell yet? They're so concerned with getting their 40 SOG it's like a 5 on 2 every shift in their d-zone.![]()
HE Online's 5-Minute Major features Nieto.
Pretty quiet two days here since all the frequent troller points were collected on Monday.![]()
Um, there were plenty of teams that played defense way back then. BC was a team that was particularly lax in that area.Smyler, it's just not BC in that regard. It's a much different game than it was even back then...much more defensive minded.

Yes, plenty of teams "played defense". My point is it's a much more defensive minded game today than it was back then.
