Re: Boston University 2012-13 Season Thread -- Part II

Saw that, have to imagine he is close to retirement no?

I never knew Gilroy as a Terrier, but I've known him as a Rangers fan. I was sad to see him leave when he signed with Tampa since I thought he had a lot of upside, but it made sense at the time because we had a little bit more depth at that position and he was probably worth more to the Lightning. He's a steal for the Rangers right now, especially given he already knows the system. At the very least he'll be able to eat up some minutes on a defensive corps that can be stretched a bit thin. Good signing for the Rangers.

BTW, Don't know if any of you saw this in TSN yesterday, but it seems as if the Leafs' Randy Carlyle has been reading up on Herman Cortes. He's posted the "Burn the Boats" mantra in the Leafs' dressing room. http://www.tsn.ca/story/?id=413518 Shades of 2009!

A week later. I'm still scared.

Looks like Chris Bourque has impressed and is likely targeted for the 3rd line with Peverly and Chris Kelly.

Lol. How long before he quits, saying somethng like that he didn't feel like going to practice anymore?

A couple months after he scores an OT goal to clinch the 2nd most difficult to win trophy his team could claim on Garden ice... so the Presidents Trophy?

(This is the most serious any of my replies to TimP have ever been)

I didn't realize that Jim Pryor had been ill and in the hospital for quite some time until tonight's broadcast. I'm glad to hear he's home now and hope he continues to get better. There's none like him and he's definitely missed.
