Re: Boston University 2012-13 Season Thread -- Part II

So who are we going to see in goal tomorrow night? Seems like it would make sense to give Maguire the start, so he can experience some element of playing in the Beanpot. Sure, the pressure is gone, and you play most of the game in front of a very small crowd. But still, why not? With the postponed Friday game, it seems Parker would be going out of his way to not give Maguire the start if he put O'Connor in again.

According to the Freep we are shuffling things up... Rodrigues will be on the point for the power play, Megan to the first line and Nieto to second line...

I would offer the issue on the (no)powerplay are the fwds and not the defensemen on the point.

So unless we are flipping these guys and putting goonan in front of the net to screen, a 3rd line fwd is now getting pp time??

Forgot to mention... Santana in the slot. So I guess he is your screen.

Bernie Corbett is beside himself, "Stop retreating behind your own net! Bank it out off the glass."

Re: Boston University 2012-13 Season Thread -- Part II

I know...Been yelling that from SEC 101 for weeks...

I first started noticing that in 2006 with Jason Lawrence...he would go BACK and BACK and BACK every time...trying to make the perfect play, I guess. As Tom said, unless you're going to play in Europe, that doesn't work here!

Re: Boston University 2012-13 Season Thread -- Part II

Bernie Corbett, "I've been doing this a long time and right now I'm speechless. I literally am at a loss for words as to what they're doing out there."

HU 5 BU 3 end 2.

Re: Boston University 2012-13 Season Thread -- Part II

OK...I've given up hope on this season and I think I'm rooting for them to not win again. Maybe some other non-violent off ice issues as well?

What's it going to take?
