Will either of the Icebreaker games be available on cable tv or streaming video?

Re: Boston University: 2010-11 part I - "so...you're saying i get a calendar??"

Last year's slogan was "Say it Twice" the other three are quotes that are written in the lockerroom, not sure for how long, but apparently easily as early as 96-97. Cool find, is that a shirt you own?

I thought last year's slogan was "Thank You Sir I'll Have Another" or "Schaeffer: The One To Have When You're Having More Than One" (especially before the bigget game of the season.

So I guess I'll be the one to bring up the most important question for this season which, as far as I know, hasn't been discussed once this entire off-season:

Is the Millan/Rollheiser combo going to suck hard again this season?

yes, it is a shirt of mine (and yes, i throw nothin out --- just ask my wife :p )

that was the only slogan i heard last year, before every game with the three captains on the jumbletron... ugh

(and no baby, if you read this... i am not implying you are garbage and i should throw you out. just my clutter of junk. ;) )

In case anyone is interested, the women's game, at North Dakota, is on TV tomorrow at 3 on Fox College Sports Central.

Will the canadians be back for the game? I saw that they missed the first game.

If they do it will be a long season. I think they need to be really good, especially early with the very young defense that is bound to make lots of mistakes.

FL, will there be a blog tonight? I will miss this one with kid duty.

Hi all,
I'm a newbie up in Canada. Can someone here explain to me how to watch the games online? I find it pretty confusing-not sure about subscription choices and such. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance....

Re: Boston University: 2010-11 part I - "so...you're saying i get a calendar??"

Had a conversation with Parker yesterday, and one thing that came up is the NCAA is experimenting the no icing on the PK rule in all exhibition games, so for just tonight, players will not be able to ice the puck. That may have been announced elsewhere and I just hadn't seen it, but that was the first I'd heard of it.

I'm not a fan of that potential rule change, but I am interested to see how it works out tonight.

See the last paragraph. ;)

I'm also interested in seeing how it works tonight. I hate the rule, but it'll be interesting. Some other stuff to watch for since we didn't have a game preview (we didn't talk to Parker until yesterday afternoon and we all had stuff to do last night):

-Parker said Bavis will be the de facto head coach, with Powers and Hasanen as assistants.
-He said the lines will be shuffled throughout the game.
-Same goes for the PP and PK units.
-He said Gaudet, Coyle and Gilroy are all guys that could be center or wing, so don't be surprised to see them play both tonight.
-He said the three experienced d-men (Warsofsky, Nicastro, Escobedo) will each be paired with an inexperienced partner at least to start the season.
-He said Megan showed the biggest jump in the offseason in terms of getting in better shape and changing his attitude, so he should be someone to keep an eye on.

This rule was part of the USA Hockey Rule changes 2 years ago. It makes no sense to me whatsoever.

Woo! Moved to NH in the offseason and won't be making it to too many games. Good to know that this is an option!

A real fan would make it to the home games.

So Megan finally got rid of the bad attitude?

Better make sure he doesn't hang out with Neito or that bad attitude will come right back!
