Page 3.

Page 1 = point shaving scandal.
Page 2 = football team throwing games (and covered up by BC alum Attorney General).
Page 3 = BC student bookies getting 2 x 4'd by Gambino family enforcers outside of Maryanne's.
Page 4 = Hoops players throwing coeds off their seats because they wanted to sit down
Page 5 = racist e-mails to black players.
Page 6 = Steroid abuse on football team
Page 7 = BC coaches banging players on women's team in exchange for playing time
Page 8 - 1000 = BC hoops in Skinner era: drugs, weapons possession, assault, harboring a fugitive, counterfeiting, etc etc etc.

That's where fellow BC alums attend meetings to plan our takeover of the world. We speak English in these meetings so any nearby BU alums can't understand what we are saying...:)

don't forget, in the appendix, the circular argument about xenophobic BC posters and their racist tendencies - they'll point out diversity at BC, which gets the "ok, besides sports teams, have you ever attended school with someone who wasn't a white catholic?" which begets a post about diversity at BC which makes everybody wonder why the original poster thinks diversity is a) only at BU b) the basis for criticizing another school

it's an oldie but a goodie

Ooooh! When this happens, can you do me a huge favor?? Can you change the way airlines board passengers so that it goes winndow/center/aisle? And that parents have to pay a deposit when they travel with babies that they will get back if ther child manages to make it through the flight without screaming? That would be awesome, 'kthxbye.

statistically, BC is more diverse than BU - so your racist argument doesnt hold any water. xenophobia (which is different) could apply i suppose. but it's not that we are against foreigners; it's just funny that no one on this side of the ocean would ever seriously consider going to BU, so you have to fill your slots with international students - kind of like umass hockey.

but you say 'diversity isnt the basis for criticizing a school' while you are criticizing a school (BC) for its diversity. is that intentional irony?

you might need to slow down and read it again, I wasn't criticizing BC for it's lack of diversity...in fact I have more than once on this site made the same argument ( I believe to you).

I have taken a gander at the BC website for the info...to confirm that those of you who criticize BU (as you have posted multiple times for having 'Euro-trash' or for your new poster 'people from places with deserts') are blind to the facts.

I was just running that through the spin cycle as part of Rover's list of canned responses. I assumed his post was tongue in cheek and therefore my addition to the appendix would be viewed the same way...my mistake.

Now, when you say nobody on this side of the ocean would consider going to BU...hmmm, just guessing that isn't true. Lastly, when we consider the rankings of academic performance from country to country...maybe having more US students isn't something to brag about??

Anyway, the season will be starting soon and we can worry about hockey, not the same old tired stuff.
