Nice to see, I guess, but it's way early for bracketology. Yale moved up from 6 to 5, and the Spartans dropped from 16 to 20, even though neither team has played a game yet.

sparty lost an exhibition.

To quote -- and contradict myself -- it is good to get those two out-of-conference wins against ranked opponents, when it's unlikely that R(PI) or Brown (two games, ouch) are likely to be teams under consideration. That doesn't mean that they're gimmees, of course, but they don't help much.

It will certainly help when Bucky whips up on Sioux/pios/bulldogs and Irish beat Michigan/Miami. That COp pct will help out.

yes, the five fans and the usher in the stands.

Winner.

Terriers move up to #10 in USCHO poll. Maine #8, UNH #9.

Hey, FL, the notes given to the media still include pronunciations of players names, don't they? The Notre Dame announcer butchered Clendening and Nicastro all afternoon and flubbed Ruikka a few times, too.

Yep, the line charts given out at every game still have pronunciations. I heard it took until the second period for them to realize it was Rollheiser in net and not Millan, too. How do you butcher Clendening? It's pronounced exactly how it looks.

No surprise, Warsofsky gets POTW and Gill gets ROTW. This year, HE also has a team of the week (BU).

So you are saying Parker hacked into the system?

Actually, Parker was a linemate with the Team Of The Week selector. Which means other teams have to be Three Times Team Of The Week just to beat our One.

I hear the POTY and ROTY have already been sewn up as well. Actually, I should say that it's just been determined that they will be BU players, they can still duke it out amongst themselves to see which BU player gets them.

Wow, Parker sure does have the entire world of officiating, video review, and award selection at his command, doesn't he...

Yeah, I watched most of that game. He also assisted on the game tying goal. Lots of x-college players in that game. Howard, Janik, Eaves on the wings in addition to the many on Colorado. The shooout was even better because until Yips scored, nobody from either team had scored, through five or six rounds.
