And just like that, we're a TUC. RPI of 24, plus we win 2 pairs over ND and MN so were tied for 22nd in the PWR.

Now that is amazing. :)

The next 2 weeks will be a real test: Lowell, BC, and Maine twice? Stay focused, boys.

It was a really great play that led to Chiasson's break and he did a good job biding before taking the shot. There was luck involved for Rawlings not to handle it cleanly, but it was a good play and nice shot.

The play was definitely great, but BU had a ton of great plays that didn't wind up in the net. Rawlings had that one, and it just trickled by him. I count that as lucky.

Well we could say Rawlings got lucky on Vinny's tip, but we all knew that was going wide. ;)

He was sharp, but it happens so often that when goalie seem to be on and stopping everything, that one just trickles by.

I forgot about this last night, but did anyone else notice that Nicastro really seemed to be struggling on the point on the PP? He had a really hard time keeping pucks in the zone, which I hadn't noticed from him before.

I notice Chiasson as a post game interview, I thought, like last year, Parker wasn't letting freshman take part in those. What changed?

Last year's prohibition was first semester only, I believe.

I'm not sure about the rest of the freshmen, but Millan didn't talk to the media until the Hockey East semis last year. As for this year, we were originally told that we wouldn't talk to them until the Beanpot, but we've been able to talk to them for a couple weeks now. Chiasson was the first in a press conference, though.

Didn't Millan speak at the Beanpot last year? Or Bonino? I may be wrong there.

I dont have it on me, but I'm pretty sure that Burn the Boats will settle the dispute as to when Parker let the rookies speak.

As much as I've enjoyed celebrating our new spot as a TUC and thinking about how quickly we would potentially work our way up the list with games against 2 other TUCs coming up this week we should all be aware of how quickly we could slip back as well... I sure hope as many people as possible make the little trip up to UML to get the team up and energized on Friday.

It just gives us a chance to make the tourney even if we don't see BU win HE.

But lets make sure there are no chances. Just win the HE tourney to put my mind at ease.

Had my UML friend pick up tickets today in section E.

I think we'd have to go pretty close to unbeaten for the rest of the season to make it as an at-large team.
