one was against uhn... either "no goals against this period" or "ten saves". either way they didn't.

there was another one early season too that didn't win.

I remember getting the challenge against UNH...

The one we definitely didn't get was "Win the game" against RPI. :/

I remember this being the UNH game:

I think mookie meant the 4-1 loss last month to UNH. Understandable that you seem to have blocked that game from your mind.

I actually kind of don't remember that game... but I was actually thinking that the 4-1 loss was the face off game... but per texts it was clearly the UMass game.

So does this mean three times we've failed the challenge?

A new restaurant at the corner of Agganis and Comm ave where McD's used to be that does a random challenge that if BU gets all meals are buy one, get one free

Yes, the 4-1 UNH game was "don't allow a 3rd period goal"

The 10 saves one was, I believe, BC and Kieran made ten saves then let the 11th SOG in

Why do I remember this stuff when I've never even been to Canes?:confused:

Heading in the right direction...I think this guy Parker might be a decent college hockey coach. Kudos to the captains and coaching staff for pulling it together so far in 2010.

Well put. Tied for 4th place, 4 points out of second. Who would have thunk it back in December?

And BU holds the tiebreaker against that second team. Problem is, that second team is playing some **** good hockey.

Pending other action, BU is 16T in the PWR! :eek: :eek: :eek:

Not your father's Jack. In the first Vincent missed perhaps his widest open net of the season from two feet. As he lines changed the coach came down the lone to meet V and slapped hands, then patted him on the back twice, then finished hiM off with a helmet shake. Made me watch closer and all night the coaches did in kind, buddy with the D and Bavo with the fwds.

Also Colby is still hurting. Early he didn't even bother trying to move off the left point to keep a puck in and the almost breakaway where he took the whistle he was very slow in turning back to try to stop the rush. He got out of his gear quickly though. He was in the tunnel to shake hands with the coaches before everyone left the bench for the postgame shake.

They are going to have to smoke a lot of pot in Burlington to get over giving up 2 goals in 17 seconds to MC and losing that game...BU's rise is simultaneous to the dropoff of a few middle of the table teams.

Apparently MC pulled the goalie and scored 2 goals inside of the 2min mark, 17 seconds apart to win the game...stuff like that never happens in college hockey.

The 'Mack outshot UVM 40-25 and 21-6 in the third period. They're 4-2-1 in their last seven. Very glad we don't have any games left with MC.

Trivino has a high ankle sprain. Not sure how long he'll be out. :(

HA!!!!!!!

Don't worry about them. They're still excited with the moral victory over you guys in DC, the wins over powerhouses Yale and Air Force, and their regular season series win over BC.
