BC will have their first powerplay of the season, Thunstrom drawing the call on a nice play. 9:26 left in the 2nd

4-0, 6:55 left in the 2nd. Boyles appeared to be screened.

That was out of nowhere, BC had been controlling play.

Video is getting a bit choppy, but the audio is fine. 2:00 left in the period, BC is playing much better.

I am so disheartened, though we played MUCH better in the 2nd period. Shots were even at 9-9, for a game total of 16-11, Clarkson.

The good news: 4-0 leads after 2 periods aren't exactly an automatic victory when these two teams play.

Goals for the third period:

1) Outscore Clarkson for the period. Get that monkey of their shoulder of getting their first goal, going into tomorrow.

2) Outshoot Clarkson and show control of the period.

3) Continue to keep players out of the box. The 2nd period had a ton better discipline.

I'm hoping the dreadful start to this game can be attributed to having more rust than Clarkson. In general, all I'm hoping to see is more progress. I'll revisit these points after the game.

Anyone else watching with any thoughts? Or are you all just here for the game updates? That's fine too lol at least I would feel useful.

Clarkson penalty, 8:09 left. BC had just had probably their best chance of the day.

With 6:52 left, BC gets their first goal of the season on a tipped flutterpuck from the circle. I'll take it.
