Key questions:

1) Who will step up to help replace Stack's production?
2) Will the tandem of Kingston and Boyles be able to replace the incredible production of Schaus?
3) How will the Eagles cope with having the shortest bench they've had in years?
4) Will Allie Thunstrom be able to handle the job of being the top scoring threat?
5) Will Katelyn Kurth inadvertently send someone flying over the glass?

I go on record with the following prediction which I guarantee 100% accurate: The above will all be answered in detail by the end of the season. :D

Don't underestimate Thunstrom. She could be missing the season if she has a great camp!

yeah....that this thread, being over a month early, plus the statements regarding certain players making, or not making, the national team, is pretty much the biggest fail ever.

I think there should be an BC off- season thread as well as BC pre-season, BC in- season, BC HE playoff ,BC NCAA thread. It would be a nice way to keep everything in a nice neat filing system!;) ;) ;)

going into the season..i think the forwards will be solid..short number but still solid

the team overall is going to be very good i think wit Boyles/Kingston in goal. Burns and Bolden leading the D (both very offensive also) then Kurth Johnson Regan..the d is going to be a brick wall. On forward Thunstrom leading (hopefully) Restuccia Shea Green and Welch (will need to have a very good season) then incoming Motherwell and Walsh should fit right in...

I'm personally very excited to see how Kinger and Courtney make the lines and play around with the talent sitting on their bench.

I don't think anyone has to worry about sitting on the bench this year.

While that opinion may have been pretty, er, hard to find in that "." :p I agree with part of it. There is really no need for the season thread to be started yet. It's still MONTHS away and we have the other thread still.

I do, however, absolutely think the discussion of Thunstrom and her shot at the national team is valid. But hey, the last time we agreed on anything at all was probably my freshman year or something so I'll take the 1 out of 2.

Season starts in 39 days. That's not exactly "months." And I'm betting that there will be some exhibition/preseason games in late September, so in reality we're one month away.

I don't disagree that Thunstrom has the talent to play on the WNT, but there's just so many players who have established themselves with USA Hockey over the past few years that I doubt there will be room. I expect the roster to be largely similar to this year's Worlds team, with maybe 2-3 changes (plus of course the extra players).

In any case, I doubt that all three current BC players get taken onto the squad. It would be cool if one of the 2008 graduates makes the preliminary touring squad, though.

Alright, a month. My opinion still stands.

Yeah, I agree with you here. As cool as it would be to have an olympic squad bursting at the seams with BC players, I just don't know if it will happen. Allie does have the skills though, that's for sure.

You know, I had the weirdest dream last night. For no apparent reason, I dreamed that I saw Maggie and Mrs. Taverna while I was walking out of a Staples store here in CT. Bizarre, because I didn't dream that I bought anything. I was just walking out of the store. Maybe it's a sign?

Allie does hav the skill I jus don't think the size and strength as some of those other older girls we are glad to have her wit us thou!

Now that the team is set no shaus no stack let's break the roster down
defense - who will b the number one go to person? D pairs? Maybe rolling 4 or 5?
Offense - who will be the top line? Goal scorers? Play makers? Roll 3 limes?
Goalies - boyles or Kingston
