Boston College Offseason (Continued)

Re: Boston College Offseason (Continued)

wake's been pretty good under Grobe, including an Orange Bowl appearance...not so fast my friend! :D

not sure where we're going with all this other than boise state is better than bc, bc plays in a better conference and plays a tougher schedule, and bu is now at least on par with nu

btw, part of bc scheduling weber state and kent state is the strength of the ACC. and part of boise scheduling va tech and oregon state is the weak WAC schedule.

he's right, all of it.......but i think about where this is going? it's called utter boredom! we all are desperate for the season to start so we will discuss ANYTHING!!!

Re: Boston College Offseason (Continued)

BC women's hoops schedule released...

Now, with ACC basketball scheduling out of the way, you have to imagine the hockey schedule isn't too far behind. Or, the schedule will be released day of the opener and season tickets won't arrive until day of the home opener. :p

Does anyone know where 2011 commits Quinn Smith and Kevin Tiefenwerth will be playing this season? I think both were seniors at Avon Old Farms last year.

pretty sure quinn smith is playing for youngstown in ushl, he's on the roster. As far as Tiefenwerth goes, heisenberg has him playing for Jr Bruins of EJHL but he's not on the EJ website's roster for Jr B's. Wouldn't be surprised to see him in the USHL instead or just the rosters aren't correct on EJ site.

Sadly, yes.

In Gene's hierarchy,
Football > M Bouncyball > W Bouncyball > M Hockey

yeah i agree, but i bet it isn't too long before( if it hasn't already happened) you can insert M Soccer, W Soccer in front of M Hockey (M Soccer and W Soccer are interchangeable)

Well seeing as men's and women's soccer are #5 and #4 in the country, and they play in the ACC, I would declare that reasonable.

Watch out for BC soccer, it's going to be a fun year.

i am looking forward to following both soccer teams but it is not reasonable IMO for either to be higher on that Athletic Dept totem poll than the defending National Champion hockey team...........both soccer teams have been good for a while now. the men were the #1 seed in the NCAA tourney a few years ago before spitting it up in the first round against....gasp..........
