Watching some of the game on DVR right now. What a play by Casey Fitzgerald at the end of the first. Outworks Vesey, ties him up and then keeps puck out with his skate.

..that was a very heads up play.. kid (least in this instance).. thinking at the nxt level. I actually felt bad for Vesey.. couple times on a 2 on 1 he was open early & the shot was there.. but Jaw (another senior) decided to take the shot. Harvard.. lot of individual talent.. lacking a bit of the teamwork.

Don't underestimate UMD. "Fact check" me on their thread, but they've won something like 9 of 10, several against top 5 PWR teams, have been in 5 of 8 regionals and are fed up with loosing to teams with 2 word names, first word Boston.

Looking forward to this one.

UMD will hit a wall in the 2nd. And BC's has decided to add grit to their skill. Done. Deal.

You're correct. They've beaten UND, SCSU x2, and PC during that streak. All number one seeds in the tournament.

Instead of Harvard, how about BU? Yeah, they really came to play today. At least we tried to make a game of it in the second and third periods.

Not difficult to predict (as many of us on the BU thread did)...they have played five playoff games and been awful in four of them. Disappointing to see them just melt down like this...
