Awww, thanks Nick. And Nick please thank the BC team from me personally for letting a clearly inferior team take 2 of 3 from them. That's just downright generous of them. I suppose SLU and DU also are thankful, for BC bowing out of the Denver Cup and giving them a chance. You know what, due to the generosity and compassion showed from BC, I am deciding they will be my second favorite team. And, since I have now become a fan, I guess that means I will do a lot more posting here. Even better, it won't even be "trolling" anymore. I am sure you are all very excited.
Now, what about BU, they really aren't very good and BC should beat them easily, but the last time BC played a televised game against BU...well hopefully things will be different this time.

You have to like the rebound this team has made since not showing up for the Fenway game. 10 goals in 2 games and stopping Maine's momentum dead in its tracks. I think they get at least 3 points this weekend. There is obviously the revenge factor motivating them Friday night, so I think they pull that one out 5-3. Saturday at Lowell could be a tougher contest, especially after a tough Friday night battle. Still I can see them tying Lowell 3-3.
If they can get good goaltending and get another line producing with the Gibbons/Atkinson/Whitney line, they will be very tough to beat.
Look forward to a good weekend of hockey.

Sneep having a brainfart is a flukey thing?
A questionable 5-minute major is a flukey thing? The only questionable thing about that call is that it went against a BC player. It was a check from behind. And they're pretty flukey, how often do you see one of them in hockey?
And my goodness, a puck that bounced behind Spillane and somehow didn't go in. I've watched a lot of hockey and I don't remember ever seeing anything like that. That was unbelievable and I am not expecting to ever see anything like that again. And I know you're not, either.
I'll stop being obstinate. You're right, that was the flukiest game in the history of the sport. For all 3 of those never-before-seen flukey things to happen in the same game, plus, for a goal to go in the net against John Muse - you forgot that flukey thing! - what a flukey game that was. I can't imagine why the hockey gods would be so cruel to BC.

in other news, jcarter and grantfan are doing little, if not nothing, to dispell the notion that they are the same person. it's quite comical.
slightly less comical than vermont's need to cling to little regular season games like a life vest on the titanic. every year, some scrub team beats a team it shouldnt. who cares?

I was talking about the accumulation of what happened during the course of that game. In my opinion, it was a fluke win by UVM. The first meeting between the two was not.
