Hokydad didn't like some of the stuff I said, so he copied & pasted only some of my entire commentary in two of my posts. He decided to leave out a lot of stuff that further tempered anything I said negative about Lyles. The commentary ended up looking a lot tougher than it really was.

It's like he put this effort into misconstruing my commentary as a whole in order to get the chance to reprimand me & say good things about him.

Yea, you're right, UVM looks like a national title contender. They're just sitting in 6th place, waiting for the right time to start resembling a tournament team. Then look out (especially you, Yale and Air Force!).

Maybe UVM will win the NIT since they are good at beating mediocre teams in March?

exactly. they play out the season to show that even though the elephant walkers beat denver early on, they actually are a terrible team

What exactly do the HE standings have to do with being a national contender? I mean UNH is in first but they can't beat anyone out of conference? So despite being better then BC in HE, they would likely lose even to Yale or AFA. I don't see where one is dependent on the other. Could you explain that to be oh wise and all knowing Nick.

Come on, now. I'm sure UNH would be able to beat Yale or Air Force. I mean... UVM did it! That proves anyone can do it. You guys are like the Geico Cavemen of college hockey.

I guess that would make you guys Woolly Mammoth Walkers?

Congrats on beating BC 2 out of 3 times. Should make for an exciting banner raising ceremony in Burlington come October.

What regional were you in again last year? They play the teams on their schedule it's all they can do. And once again none of the HE teams have won anything yet. The way they are all playing who knows which teams will actually get in.

UNH rolled over UVM at the Gut last month, what does THAT say about UVM?

There was nothing flukey about that game or about the first UVM win. The only flukey thing in the 2009-10 UVM-BC series was BC getting the benefit of the indisputably wrong call when the goal that would have put UVM up 2-1 in the 1st period of Friday night's game was disallowed. Although horses**t reffing is not all that flukey.

On the issue of flukes, though, don't you guys have to worry about the impending fluke of losing to BU 3 times in the first 6 weeks of 2010?

wow already chalking up 2 losses that havent occured yet? brilliant. plus we arent even lined up to play BU in the beanpot. talking about putting the cart before the elephant
