Re: Boston College Hockey 2009-2010

leblanc was getting beat up all night. i dont know what he did to deserve such rough treatment throughout the game. the shot after the whistle was still rather bush league.

I doubt it is this deep, but.... He didnt win to may hearts with his post draft interviews, I.e. going to Harvard for a year and then looking at leaving. Many kids thought that was a little arrogant. Could have been the moment but it was not received well by a lot of the players.

First, UVM 4-5-1 against current TUCS. BC is 4-2-2. So why you think UVM is ahead of BC in this regard makes no sense. They have a higher winning % and will continue to outpace UVM. UVM does not get a point because they have fulfilled the 10 game requirement while BC has not. BC could lose the next 2 against TUC and if the TUCs remain the same BC will still be higher at 4-4-2 than UVM at 4-5-1.

TUC's could also drop out of being TUC's which may actually drop BC in the pairwise. You can argue all day about the PWR right now in dec. but it doesn't mean squat. Hey, maybe you can get the NCAA to suspend all future games and play right now this instant. Then BC could be ranked 4.

Second, in case you haven't noticed, PWR right now mirrors the RPI. Take away your trivial little ways to make UVM a better team and you have BC with a far better RPI right now. .

Of course they do, their SOS is ranked 23rd for crying out loud. Stop playing 55th ranked Harvard and play some tough opponents. And oops but SOS comes into play come NCAA selection time as well.

dude, the changing of a poster's name within a quote is so UVM's pre Hockey East days.

Re: Boston College Hockey 2009-2010

RPI takes into consideration the SOS you nitwit. And while it will punish a team for losing to an awful team, it will not punish BC for beating Harvard. I kind of like that idea, don't you?

I would actually have to agree with you on this. A team should not be helped by beating a bottom of the barrel team.

When Vermont loses their next game and drops out of the TUC, we will be undefeated in that category.

Um, I gotta be honest a loss to even SLU I don't think is going to drop them 5 spots. Keep dreaming but I think BC is going to have to carry those 2 losses for the rest of the season.

do you realize how stupid what you are saying is? BC (.5785) has played Vermont (.5350) three times. guess whose strength of schedule gets lowered and whose gets raised as a result of that?
