Well, it looks to me like they've finally bought into the system. What a difference team defense makes. eh? The Eagles shut down a high powered offense (3.76 gpg) to take the W. Very well done Eagles! Defense and goaltending is what wins games this time of year and BC had it in spades last night. Proud of them.

The whole game he was yelling in my ear BC sucks
Once or twice ok but the whole freaking game
Justice was there at the end ))
At that point it didn’t matter if BC won or not

Last night was a terrific effort, throughout the line up. Cotton had 11 SOG's, Hustko was terrific and Woll was simply a wall. Carvel talked about being in the Garden for the first time and felt that that had a lot to do with their "off night" . BC definitely had an advantage there which they will not have tonight. They have beaten NU at home, lost in the Pot finals and lost at Matthews when Primeau stood on his head and stopped 43 shots. This is another very winnable game, they need to play with good defensive structure and keep out of the box. Have to control the 1st and 2nd lines for NU. One more and no one will want to play them in the NCAA's just like it was in the JY Golden Years. Hair on fire hockey tonight. Fun.

No matter what I do it's still messed up, weird.

Tonight is probably a 2-1 game either way. If BC can play like they did last night, no reason they can't beat NU. With the first game only going to one OT and BC game finishing in regulation, rest/legs shouldn't be an issue for either team. After beating UMass, BC should feel as confident as they have all year.

If they can play another disciplined, patient game I give them a 60/40 chance of winning. Not taking ANYTHING away from them, but NU just doesn't have as much incentive (no matter WHAT they say - UMass said they "wanted" to win too, but neither team has that desperation - it's just the way it is).

2018-2019No incentive? If winning a Championship trophy isn't big enough incentive for any team, what the hell are they are they playing the games for? wasting everybody's time? BC loves trophy's. Any trophy. Always have, always will under Jerry York.
