Only one of those teams BC is ahead of in PWR is Maine and only by one spot. Considering Maine already pasted BC this year and that these games are at Alfond...he's not wrong.
BC returned all forwards from last year and added Wahlstrom and yet they can't score. Shutout SEVEN times. It doesn't make any sense.

As a UNH fan I shouldn’t like Jerry York but I have ever since he won at BGSU. Really a great coach. But why does he think that this can go on forever? The template for not how to do it was Red Berenson, who hung on for far too long at Michigan. Close to home our own Dick Umile had trouble reading the tea leaves as did Jack Parker. And how do his loyal assistants, one of whom is Michael Ayers, feel about this? Can you guys see any of them leaving out of frustration?

I suppose that question can be asked of any great, stubborn coach. If I am the AD and York still wants to coach, fine. But we're not coming back with the same staff. It's Buckley's first year so I would look to Ayers. I'm not even saying it's Ayers' fault but I don't know where else to look for changes if York is still coaching.

I can't imagine Ayers is in line to be the next head coach at BC and Buckley is only in his first year. Now if Ayers doesn't think it can be turned around with York in charge, maybe he does look for other opportunities.

Oy vey. York IS going to go full Bobby Bowden. It pains me to say this. Everyone knows there is no way BC would ever force him out the door, but I was really hoping he'd have the self-awareness to realize that the game is starting to pass him by. I know that was a lot to ask. Sigh.
