Amazing, BC got badly outshot in the 3rd period and pulled out a win. Let's see if they can get points against Wisconsin next weekend. Cangelosi stepped up this weekend.

Talk about a mixed bag. I don't know whether we should be more disappointed with the loss to Air Force or thrilled with the win over Denver.

It is what it is. Doesn't sound like they played poorly against AF. They have a good program and have beaten big programs before. Air Force was up 3-1 on Ohio State (who was picked 2nd in big ten preseason) and eventually beat them in a shootout.

Overall, most encouraging thing was the goaltending. I was worried they'd be fishing the puck out of the net a lot early on.

They didn't get much of anything from white/fitzgerald and still got a vital win against Denver. Held them off without best dman.

I think most people expected Denver to win the Ice Breaker and they finished last. Starting 0-2 in the face, i'll take the split.

Air Force is a good program, well coached and has a stud in net. I wasn't predicting a loss, but I'm not surprised at all at the outcome. Nothing to hang their heads about. Now the Denver game. . . I wasn't expecting a win there at all. That's a very good win for the Eagles. Hold your heads high! A nice weekend out west. :)

According to the folks over at BC Interruption, the BC/Wisconsin games will be on TV.
Friday at 8:00 on NESN
Sunday at 4:00 on ESPNU

That's good news. Looking forward to seeing them in action.
BTW, season tix arrived yesterday (maybe sooner, hadn't been to the PO in over a week).

Very important BC-Clemson soccer game they need to televise.

Anyone get their tickets yet? I upgraded my seat location so that means I'll probably get mine day of the first game.

BC Hockey twitter account is saying it is no longer being shown. Only reason I can think of is that they couldn't agree on the fee to simulcast the game. You would think that they would have had that figured out first.

Thanks for the heads up all. Just upgraded to Ultimate HD and will see the game. :)
The wife's gonna kill me. She's always reducing the Fios subscription... I'm always upgrading it! Tis the season.
She better be careful or I'll upgrade her to a new model. ;) :D

Was able to watch the game on one of the Fox College Sports channels. Quite simply, Wisconsin finished their chances, BC didn't. Both goalies played well, but BC had three breakaways and scored on none of them. You'd like to think they'd cash in at least one of them. Special teams was the biggest issue. Power play was unimpressive despite many opportunities. Wisco scored 2 PP goals, granted one on a full two minute 5 on 3.

I don't think this was a bad performance by any means. Wisconsin looks like they will be improved from the last couple of seasons (how could they not?) and I think they were extra pumped for Granato's first home game as coach. Hopefully BC cashes their chances on Sunday and gets the split.
