Congratulations to Steven Whitney. A well deserved honor.

from The Kid on Monday, he has nothing new so far this week. Looks like we survived a scare with Arnold .

Coach York- Coach got out of the hospital this morning after a short surgery on his eye. Everything went well and Coach is resting at home. However, he will not be behind the bench this weekend. Coach Cav and Coach Brown will share the head coaching duties.

Billy Arnold- After taking a vicious leg check in the second period of Saturday's game, there was a real worry that Arnold would be out for an extended period of time but he had a bruised thigh and will be good to go this weekend. He took the day off from practice to get healthy.

Mike Matheson- He is a little bruised up and took the day off from practice. He, like Arnold, will be fine for Friday's big game.

Will York be in the building at least? Or is even that out of the question?

Mullane also went down awkwardly in game two, but thankfully was ok.

no doctor here but i would say there's no way he would risk it. I think it was mentioned by someone on EA that this latest problem could have possibly been because he came back a bit earlier than he should have............too bad, would have been even greater theater than it's going to be if he were behind the bench

Several on this team could use a maintenance day. Mullane & Matheson several times were very slow getting up. The Arnold hit was pretty scary, you could make an argument between his consistency and the number of roles he plays he's the most valuable skater on the team.

Don't see York being there this weekend.

Here's a GIF that was on reddit recently. Steve Gionta winning a faceoff against Brian Boyle with the butt end of his stick.

Everyone have plans Easter Sunday? Because that's when the Providence Regional final is. And remember having last year's game in Worcester starting at 8 PM EST??? Now I'm really hoping BC can go to Manchester.

The second semi game in Providence is at 9pm. Sunday's game is at 6:30.

I know it's a Saturday night, but 9 PM EST? What is the matter with these people?

There are 6 games that day, they want them staggered. BU BC tomorrow likely won't start til 8:30pm. Why does it matter?

Wouldn't it make sense to have the eastern games earlier...

It's a Friday night (I mean I guess you could schedule at 1:00 but...), apples meet oranges.

All regional games are in the eastern time zone this year. Personally I'd prefer the 9pm start to the 1:30pm start (Toledo).

let's see, Friday night late game or Sunday night late game.:cool:...............Easter Sunday games are brutal. Last year Easter was the Sunday after that glorious Saturday night in Tampa :D:D:D. I flew home sunday morning and was at the dinner table with 15 minutes to spare. I think we should blame the new Pope for the scheduling conflict

I know what the format is, but see claver's post. In addition, Saturday is different than Friday. If you have a two game regional on a Saturday on the east coast, there is no reason the 2nd game should be starting at 9 PM. None. And that's not even accounting for potential OT in the first game. In the end it wouldn't bother me, but it will have an impact on some people that would have attended otherwise.
