Going to watch Green Book tonight, although I heard "Driving Miss Daisy" in reverse roles.

Finally saw Star Trek Beyond.

I liked it still liked the other two better. But this one was also good.

Green Book:

Nice little movie. It was advertised about race, but I think an equal issue was about wealth/class. Either way, very good movie, fully enjoyed it, definitely recommend. Viggo was awesome, because, well, Viggo, and Mahershala is quite good (might know him from House Of Cards or Luke Cage).

Do the numbers mean anything for anyone else? Unlike Star Wars, ST numbers have no association for me at all. I know 1 (the baldy chick) and then I think Khan is... 3? Right? And that's it.

2 - The Real, Authentic, 100% Original Khan
3 - Search for Spock
4 - The One with Whales
5 - For some reason they skipped 5.
6 - Undiscovered Country
7 - Generations?
8 - The Borg one?
9 - Insurrection?
10 - Romulans?
11 - The New Batch?
12 - The Other One with Khan
13 - The Most Recent One?

For me there is 2 and 6. 1 is OK, 3 is meh and TNG cast ones are acceptable, but disappointing. I haven't even seen any of the new ones so I can't judge.

Never seen a single movie in either series, none of the numbers for either mean a **** thing to me.

The TNG ones were decent, I remember the huge controversy with the first one. The Trekkies were all mad that Kirk had to ask Picard for help. Or was it vice versa? Either way. :rolleyes:
Anything with involving the Borg or Q will be good, as far as I'm concerned.
The newest ones are fun little movies.

The TNG ones are, to paraphrase Sondheim, nice. They're not good, they're not bad, they're just nice.

Syfy should not be nice. It should be right.

First Contact was pretty darn good. Generations was OK, but more for the fact it was the first TNG movie and the crossover; the details of it were meh. The other two you can completely ignore, no one seemed to be trying by then.

For TOS, even good, odd bad. Though the first one could have possibly been better if executed better.

up until TNG movies, the odd ones sucked and the even numbers were good. Nemesis ruined that streak.

It's hard to hate Nemesis, only because Tom Hardy and Ron Perlman were in it. ;)
