There were actual fan complaints when Sam showed up in the TV series "Justified" without the 'stache. They were PI*ED.

Ben Is Back:

A 19 year old son returns to his family, unexpectedly, from rehab for Christmas. Issues arise.

I thought it was pretty good, even Julia Roberts did well in her role. Covers some ground that one wouldn't normally think about when dealing with an addict. It wasn't as dramatic/touching as it wants to be, which is my knock on the movie, but that's forgivable. Solid watch.

Yea... AMC has pooped the bed with this.... Their servers have been effed since 7am :mad:

I expect this with sports/concert tickets... Not movie tickets :o

Hoping the 10pm DOLBY show on Thursday night will still be an option when they get their stuff straightened.... I got $15 in STUBS points, so I need to go through them to get the tickets... Otherwise I would just use Fandango...

Since I dont care about IW it is annoying me because I cant buy tickets to the movies I DO want see :mad::rolleyes::p

Should be fine tomorrow though so I will survive :)

When Star Wars VII tickets went on sale, the same thing happened. Chances are many of these ticketing systems used by movie theaters, sports and music venues, all contract through the same few services - it's cheaper than building your own ticketing and ACH services from scratch.

Fans are particularly excited for this new movie because the director, Denis Villeneuve, did an incredible job handling the sequel to another sci-fi property that inspires similarly extreme protectiveness from fans: "Blade Runner," directing that film in 2017.

I don't expect movie theaters to have the same server capacity as major concert or sports venues. Maybe they can temporarily ramp up for big events but according to Atom tickets the immediate demand was three times higher than that of IW last year, so I can hardly blame them for getting bogged down.

As of 8:30p, AMC's servers seem to be back and working normally... Got one of the last non-1st row seats to the 10:00p IMAX showing at the local AMC... Was really hoping to see this in an AMC Dolby showing, but that wasn't happening till Friday AM and I don't trust the internet to stay spoiler free for 12 hours :p

Added: There is an AMC in downtown Chicago that is legitimately showing ENDGAME every 30 Minutes until 7:30a on Friday morning before taking a break until they start Friday at 10am... Was Star Wars like this? This is nuts....

A pair of Texas Rangers come out of retirement to catch the infamous outlaws Bonnie and Clyde.

Much like "Public Enemies," there was a whole lot of potential that was wasted. *sigh*. I will say, I actually didn't hate Costner in this one. That's a minor miracle. It was an ok movie, but man, what could've been.....
