Re: Big Ten > NCHC

The guy is obsessed. He has now reached nut job territory.

nut job territory? lmao, I spend a very small amount of time each day with this bs. Do you think it takes more than a few minutes to figure out a way to construct an argument against the nchc or SCSU??? lol omg, you poor thing. I do this while binge watching Netflix. It hardly takes any effort at all, and its entertaining watching you SCSU and nchc fans flailing about, lol. :)

Re: Big Ten > NCHC

You do get the conferences did not exist till 4 years ago right?
As such...logic dictates that while schools can claim those...conferences can't because they did not exist. Its why schools separate their records based on the conferences they were in at the time.

You claimimg the B1G has all these titles is incorrect because they were not won while members of a B1G hockey conference.

So as I said...you twist them to fit your narrative...not factual arguments.

The B1G has always existed. *** are you talking about? You seem to think or imagine or dream or fantasize that the world revolves around college hockey????? Dude, it doesn't. College hockey is a very niche sport, that might not even exist today if not for B1G hockey programs, especially Minnesota and Michigan.

And check out B1G team's wiki pages, from 1959 until 1981, Michigan and Michigan St were in the WCHA with UW and UMn, AND Big Ten Conf Standings were kept. UW didn't even start up their hockey program until the late 50s.

Before that, UMn, Michigan and MSU were all in the WIHL and the MCHL.

See, you seem to have such a simple minded way of looking at things.

College hockey is a niche sport, or don't you realize this???

You want to separate B1G hockey programs from their past??? Well, that is because that is the ONLY way that you can match them.

Pathetic.

Oh good lord. You are so **** dense you are no longer worth my time.
Fine. You win.
The b1g is THE GREATEST EVAH!!!!!!!
No one can match them and never will.
Have fun spooging with all those titles.
I quit.

Re: Big Ten > NCHC

I mean, think about it, the B1G was FORCED together, yet still are in a position to get 3-5 teams into the tourney right now, including the #1 team.

Meanwhile the NCHC was a conference formed out of teams who all chose to be in the conference, they were all invited. So the NCHC had the privilege of picking and choosing who was going to be in their conference. I would sure in the frack hope that they would start out as a very competitive league.

But the B1G? We were stuck with 5 programs, most of whom were struggling at the time of formation, along with a 6th program that was basically brand new.

How the frack can you try to hold such a conference under the highest scrutiny? Well, unless you are a biased nchc fan knowing it might be their only chance???

But the B1G isn't going anywhere. You should consider yourselves blessed that the B1G struggled its first few years, because it gave the nchc a chance to establish itself and possibly to compete down the road?

But that will be only if the likes of SCSU and WMU can deliver come NCAA tourney time.

About time you came to your senses. The B1G is DA SH1T!!!

Yeah, even I'm getting bored reading this. But I remember getting into arguments that I was passionate about and getting attacked by all sides. Not too often on this side of the board but not too long ago over in the café. So I get the desire to keep it going, but it has to run its course at some point.

Re: Big Ten > NCHC

Only a couple more pages until it gets locked up. I am just hoping for a jockstock appearance to put the cherry on top of this sundae.

Well, the NCHC is never going to become a crappy conference, and with the resources it has, I don't see the B1G ever becoming a crappy conference, either, despite its slow start. So this argument will likely resurface every year, especially if I come back next season, lol.

I can spice it up and make it more interesting, but not everyone would like it??? Just let me know and I'll turn the argument up a notch, lol. :)

Slow Start? Massively understated. Massive.

Fred doesn't engage in argument or debate, though, just the conversational equivalent of armfarts and spitwads.

Dude has to be on cocaine, the massive size of the posts, their being all over the place in terms of logic and consistency of argument, even just staying on topic seems to be impossible for him.

Cocaine? lol You guys crack me up. Clueless but kind of entertaining.

Re: Big Ten > NCHC

When you can't figure out that the B1G has ZERO national titles (and why that is)...you shouldn't be calling anyone simple minded.

Oh I know exactly what you weak *** SCSU fans are trying to do, you are trying to limit the conversation to the last 4 years, that is the ONLY WAY you have a chance. It's pathetic. It's a school that hasn't done anything of any significance and whose fans are desperately trying to argue that their school is relevant in some way.

1 frozen four in all of history???

The B1G is far more than a one sport only conference, in a niche sport at that. The NCHC, can not claim the same. Outside of Men's college hockey, a minor niche sport, it does not exist. The B1G does, and has for a very long time. And has totally transformed the country you live in, unknown to you it seems. The B1G has totally transformed YOUR life, unbeknownst to you.

You SCSU Men's Hockey fans sometimes act like Men's college hockey is all that matters in the world?! Or you want to believe that's that case??? That's the fantasy world you live in???

Despite the fact that SCSU hasn't done anything REAL. SCSU still hasn't gotten to it's 2nd Frozen Four.

You diss any talk of the NHL or the Olympics, and those are hockey related topics. But that is only because SCSU hasn't contributed to either in any kind of a significant way.

Not in the past, and not recently, either.

From 1951 until 1981, Mich, Michigan St & Minnesota were in the same conference. From 1959 until 1981, Wisconsin joined them and they all kept Big Ten Standings.

Go look up their year to year results at Wikipedia and you'll see where each of the 4 teams finished in the Big Ten standings all of those years.

B1G hockey is not a new idea. It's been around for a very long time. The NCHC is the new idea, born out of desperation, NCHC took in who it could those who were available, & basically just winged it since. They got lucky and found a couple programs that weren't depleted by the NHL yet.

But my guess is you didn't know this, did you? Either that or you want to ignore it, because its inconvenient to you?

Did you honestly think Michigan & Michigan St have always been a part of the old CCHA??? lol

The CCHA was a bs creation that was bound to fail, and it did.

But the B1G has been around for a very long time and will NEVER go away. Not until colleges and universities do. The B1G is bigger than everyone in the forum combined, times 1000000.

Sure, most of that does not apply directly to men's division 1 college hockey, but indirectly it does. Only losers with no significance in the world do not recognize this. IS that you, SCSU fans???
