Big Ten > NCHC

Scooby, do we know anything at all for 100% sure? But a pair of Aces will beat a pair of sixes the vast majority of times, and money can be made betting on Aces. Same can be said about sports. Like I said, there are people out there making good money betting on sports outcomes, that could only be possible if they know who is going to win the majority of the time. If you can't understand that, well that's too bad.

As always...no one cares.

Re: Big Ten > NCHC

Is there a worse league than the Big 14? It's a great team in Notre Dame, a pretty good team in Ohio State, and a bunch of mediocre to bad teams. The Big 14 deserves to have at most two tournament teams. Thanks for blowing up the CCHA.

CCHA??? LOL, that was one of the worst hockey conferences out there. And if not for the B1G contingent in the CCHA, that conference wasn't worth anything, as is evidenced by it disappearing once the B1G contingent in the CCHA was removed.

Five teams among the top 16 in PWR (Six in the top 20). The fact of the matter is that the Big Ten is the best overall conference in the nation. Only one great team but five others that are at the very least capable of beating anybody on any given night.

NCHC has 5 in the top 11 and 6 in the top 14, slappy.

Gap may be closing? lol Who was needing to fill a Gap??? It is the nchc that was trying to fill the gap.

NCAA Natl titles?

B1G = 23
nchc = 19 (was 17)

NCAA tourney Title Games?

B1G = 36
nchc = 29

NCAA tourney Frozen Fours?

B1G = 72
nchc = 57

NCAA tourney wins?

B1G = 187
nchc = 138

Seems nchc still has a ways to go. And if the B1G is bouncing back from the dip it took when the B1G formed, it might take longer to close that gap than you'd like. In fact that gap may never be closed. That would be my prediction.

Again, it doesn't matter what has happened since the formation of the two conferences. The key is what happened before any of the current players hit puberty. Stay with the program. :p:D:D

Epic failure JDUBBS...you didn't even count the Gophers' 39 self-claimed national titles from before the NCAA Tournament began. Assuming your Gopher Fanboy Card isn't all sticky, you can return it to Mariachi Arena at your earliest convenience.

As usual you pick and choose your stats to suit your narrative.

Well, since I am not JDUBBS...? I don't know what to tell you man. I could look up what Ross Bernstein says about pre-NCAA Natl Titles, I know he claims that there are several in the 20s, at least 1 in the 30s, and one in 1940.

How did I pick and choose anything??? Those are the total NCAA tourney #s. The NCAA picked and chose those #s.

If you want me to do what everyone claims JDUBBS did, and go back before the NCAA tourney, I guarantee you that it won't help the NCHC.

You do get the conferences did not exist till 4 years ago right?
As such...logic dictates that while schools can claim those...conferences can't because they did not exist. Its why schools separate their records based on the conferences they were in at the time.

You claimimg the B1G has all these titles is incorrect because they were not won while members of a B1G hockey conference.

So as I said...you twist them to fit your narrative...not factual arguments.
