So who the fark is Daniel McCarthy at the NY Times? One of his convents from last night is that Cory freaking Booker is more likeable and less polished than Obama. He also consistently rated the convention lower than the rest. Is he trying to become the next David Brooks?

I like Booker and all, but yeah nowhere near as likable or polished than Obama.

As for the convention, being see different I can see some people having strong opinions. Some things were done well, some not. Some things made more since to do remotely, some you maybe lost some of the impact where there was no audience responding. That said, the media people and other politicos on average are going to hate the remote conventions because it robbed them off a chance to go to a city for a week, party and eat their asses off, and have it be all paid for or expensed. Our convention experience, watching on TV, is something that maybes kill an hour off the evening for us during a time in the year when nothing is on; for them, it was a free spring break (albeit in Milwaukee but hey free booze).

Well seeing as he thinks Trump is a great foreign policy President and wrote an Op-Ed in the Times in 2019 saying Trump should not be impeached because everything he did was within the scope of his Presidential Powers because of Hunter Biden...I would say he is worse than Brooks.

Yeah many were begging for her to speak at the RNC. Hell her Liberal fans (ah the gullible) were agreeing and didnt seem to get the irony at all.

Tulski has ZERO liberal fans. In fact from comments like this I don't think you understand what "liberal" even means.

I know you are old...but at least pretend to be under the retirement age you are embarrassing yourself. :-)

If Biden wins Flo(R)ida and AZ (both of which Dump won by over 100k votes last time), I think one of either OH (more likely) or NC ends up narrowly flipping with it and it basically becomes as close to a mandate victory as he's likely going to get.

Dubya ended "mandates" when he "won" the 2000 election by the margin of Florida Jews with poor eyesight, then governed as if he was an autocrat.

Win the election by 1 vote. Then govern like you were unopposed.

The victorious party will always misinterpret the voter's disdain of the other party to be a mandate for themselves.

But in this case the voters' disdain for the other party will be itself substantive:

Don't be a Nazi. Don't apologize for Nazis. Don't pretend Nazism is normal.

That alone completely gets rid of the American right since 1994.

Not being a Nazi does equate to pursuing our agenda, because our agenda is to rid this country of the creeps who have controlled the GOP for 30 years.
