Well it’s not like she’s barred from running for President after being the Governor of Georgia for a term or two. I know the governorship isn’t the stepping stone to the Presidency the way it once was, but, at the moment, Abrams doesn’t want to be a senator. She needs a little experience to sharpen her craft. So, I’m thinking she serves in the Biden administration, becomes Governor of Georgia from 2022-2030, and then successfully runs for President in 2032, after 8 years of Kamala Harris.

I didn’t think it was the right move. I’m still 100% for Biden/Harris and will donate money, volunteer, and do anything else I can do to get them elected.
One thought I had this morning is how does she play with black men without a college degree? I could see some resentment given her background and it seems like Trump has some sort of weird hold over uneducated people.

Nope, that was me. I'm not thrilled with the choice, but I'm not gonna do anything stupid like vote Loonitarian just because she's the VP nominee. I'm sure she'll make a fine POTUS once Biden starts drooling on himself and has to resign.

And that's what is important here. She isn't a deal breaker for anybody. Warren, PBUH, would have been. So would Abrams. Rice may have been although anybody who believes the conspiracy BS about her is probably already gargling the mushroom.
By all rights a Centrist-Centrist ticket should leave me depressed, but it doesn't at all. (1) I didn't expect anything else; when the establishment is attacked it excludes, but also (2) the key thing right now is to scour out the Nazis. It isn't dating, it's hiring exterminators.

I don't believe that to be true. And if Harris was your "motivation" or lack there of...point still stands. You weren't actually going to vote or vote for Biden. That's just the excuse you justify it to yourself with.
Hopefully you’re right, but I’m sure we are going to have a ‘swift boat veterans’ group of black men who were railroaded by Harris when she was DA. I think it’s a clear opening for Trump.

With the caveat that if it were election day, Biden would be at 91%. The reason he's lower is simply because there's 100 days till the election and that's plenty of time for unexpected things to happen.
I like the pick. Biden doesn't need a Hail Mary and while I would have preferred Abrams I also realize that Harris has much more experience if she needs to step in at a moment's notice. It also reinforces the perception that Biden can get along with anybody in the Democratic party from Sanders to Manchin and everyone in between. No one went after Uncle Joe more in the debates and yet here we are.
