unofan obviously paid attention to all of his law school education and not just the parts where they teach you about "billable hours." :) And I agree with what Handy posted unofan. Always lots of good insight, presented with a rational voice. I should be using you as a role model.

*eta* jeez, even when you just use keystrokes to make a winking eye emoji it doesn't show up? What gives? At any rate, pretend there is a winking eye emoji after the word hours.

You have to add a nose. ;-) :-) :-o

Yes this board is now older than AOL...

Earlier in Flint there was a robocall saying that the lines are too long so you should wait to vote tomorrow.

Now someone in Dearborn got a text saying the scanners are messed up so you actually need to mark the opposite presidential choice for it to count for your candidate.

You know at some point voters need to take some personal responsibility. In this day and age if you were planning on voting but would fall for something like this it is hard for me to blame anyone but the duped voter. trump's two or three thousand voters who AREN'T reprehensible bigots and traitors need to use their freeking heads once in a while and I would say the same thing to anyone who fell for this.

I have long believed the notion of the undecided voter was a myth, or at the very least overstated. For the last few elections I clearly think very few people who vote are unsure of who they will vote for by the time the conventions roll around and we've probably known for weeks who the nominees will be. Having said that, my hope this time around is, if there were even a small number of undecideds, they break for Biden because of the pandemic. The few there were last time may have broken towards trump because of Comey and a semi conscious Clinton being dragged to a waiting van. This time around there is no reason for an "undecided" voter to break for trump while there is every reason to break towards Biden. Maybe I'm whistling past the graveyard, maybe I'm right, who knows?

I agree with all of this.

There a guy in Minneapolis frantically posting all over the phone number for the fbi and that people need to call when they witness people hoarding ballots.

get the feeling he doesn’t get laid much

Federal judge f-cks the Nazis right in the as-s. He has ordered US Postal Inspectors to sweep all facilities to find any ballots and ensure they are delivered.

So much for the Republicans sabotaging mail delivery.

There is some evidence (according to Bitecofer) that late-deciding voters break for the challenger. Good for Trump in '16, good for Joe in 2020. IT'S JOE TIME

I think that GOP turnout is lower than expected? Not 100% sure though.

I’m wondering, as no news has yet mentioned this, if mandatory mask wearing at the polls will cut back on the trumpettes in person voting totals. I know in my small trumpy town in Maine, outright refusal to wear one is common and sadly not enforced at local general store. They would rather not vote if it required a mask....

If this were true it would prove without doubt the stupidity of the average republican voter. If you told me I COULD NOT wear a mask to the polling place because they have to be able to see my face to let me vote, I would have either complied or (much more likely) just voted early. Any trump voter who decline to participate because they didn't want to mask up is too stupid to live.
